Imprecise Controls

It's such a great, simple concept with a few very small minor issues that keep it from having perfect, tight, responsive controls. I feel as though I have very loose control over my character most of the time because of certain little things.
1. Minimum jump height: Sometimes all I want to do is a small bunny hop to reach an enemy that is just beyond my reach however when I tap the jump button I am not telling to game to smash me headlong into the enemy directly above me. Later on, the high velocity continuous upward momentum also leads to increasingly impossible to dodge death traps that could be avoided if releasing the jump button HALTED upward momentum.
2. Wall climbing mechanics that grind everything to a halt: This could be fixed a number of ways, but the one currently in place just breaks the flow of momentum. Personally, I think Super Meat Boy's upward sliding mechanic would be perfect but that's just me. It's a little infuriating to try and jump straight up only to latch immediately back onto the wall I just let go of.

3. This is just a glitch but I've been playing long enough to somehow crash the music loop. I'm sure this will be patched eventually.

It's a fun game. It just needs a few bugs fixed.

-Reset a makes you revert to Baby Rufus and doesn't give back all your skulls.
-mouse controls sometimes gets mixed up with mouse
*Should have presets in options.
-Stats don't appear to be saved after you quit.

Other than that this is just as addictive as Toss the Turtle.
It's also very clever how you've distorted some very familiar characters to avoid copyright lawsuit. intentionally so though, it adds the the humor to recognize these 'unnamed' parodies.

Not quite as good

This game, is a good one, but there are several flaws with it that keep it from being all it could be, and it's disappointing to see what could have been a great game limited.

The good things in this game really shine, like the graphics, and the idea of it, it also has good mechanics so it plays smoothly and doesn't take long to get used to. The menus are easy to use and it has awesome music.

There are, the bad things though, that drag this game down. The way that items can cost several thousand (8000+) skulls when you get maybe 300 on a very good run, makes the game very time consuming, with little variety in between the upgrades, meaning that it becomes repetitive very fast. The selection of upgrades is also a little lacking, especially when this is a game that's made solely around upgrades. To fix this, either making items cost less or runs give more skulls would be effective, but then you'd have to add more upgrades to keep the same length of gameplay.

Overall it's a good game, but there are lacking areas which leave plenty of room for improvement.
