I gave it my best i really really did
I dont shy away from games just because they are hard. I never have, but the problem you have here is that this type of game becomes very boring very fast if it is way too challenging, and im afraid thats the case. You die ALOT and even with double jump and the other powerups one enemy can one-shot you. A health bar or even a type of ammuntion (even if limited) would help greatly.
Good concept, bad difficulty.

uh dude...
wtf - if you reset your skulls the guy says "here's all your money back" and he keeps my muthuhfukkin cash! Probably wanna resolve that glitch...
