Some annoying randomness

I like games that use randomization to change it up and make it unique each time, but some randomness in this game was annoying.

* If you hit a blue goo (with the spike top) from underneath, sometimes it would make you invulnerable, and you could combo your way up by hitting other enemies from the bottom. Other times, you'd do that, but one enemy you hit from the bottom hurts you. It seemed too random on this.

* When you use an explosive, you can blast through full spike balls...but sometimes you hit them and they totally slow you down while other times you blow right through them.

* Sometimes I'm on top of a major monster hitting it when I randomly bounce off (while the monster is still alive), and pop into an enemy and die.

* Sometimes there's tons of explosives. Other times you're barely finding any.

* Sometimes you end up in a situation you can't get out of ... eg: standing on a small platform, and there's nothing but spiked balls above you.

The biggest annoyance I have with games like these is the ground disappearing. I'd prefer the screen to just fall back down to ground level if I F up, and then random enemies repopulate the way back up again.

It's entertaining, but the levelling up is pretty slow, the power ups are standard and don't seem to really be as "dramatic" for the price you're paying, and when he's levelled up you still feel like sort of a wuss in that random chance calls a lot of the shots.

I absolutely loved the art style of this, though, and the mechanics/animations/music were very good, minor gripes aside.

Hey, not bad!

Alright, it was addicting, enjoyable, and kinda hilarious at points. Kudos for the art on the big guys too.
I just got the 20k character so I feel like I've experienced everything the game has to offer. And i just realized... man the turtle was the best character.
By the time you get Dad, you're already good enough to not land on the heads of the blue spikes which are the only ones he breaks, at least from what I noticed. "the Plumber" and his 'super double jump' seemed... completely pointless. I didn't notice any higher of a jump. You should give him a triple jump or something, after all it is Mario, essentially. That other guy, the first one, the fast one: meh. I was alright with him, speed was fun. The bigger Rufus's don't seem to do much save jump higher, so I ask: why use anyone besides the Turtle.

I'd have to say that all the work I put into getting the 20k character should have been worth a lot more. 1 hitting the big guys is alright, but I don't think that overshadows any of the qualities of anyone else. He's not that great, plus I mean... the character choice was meh too.

-*End of Spoiler*-

So I'd say all in all 8/10. Really enjoyed the game, enough to unlock everything. The problem was: everything isn't worth it. All the upgrades rock (except wall jump, forgot to mention that... there are no walls after 600ft!) and so does the Turtle. The other characters could have been a lot better to actually make me think "do I take the awesome turtle or is dad's wicked strength worth it...'. Still, can't say much bad about it besides that, because I did play it to the end. And for me to do that with a game, it has to at least be good. So good job.

Toss the Turtle still gets 10/10 though. Best re-playability ever.

Pretty amazing

The 8 is for the useless "you got rich" character that cost me 20 000... ^^ anticlimax
You could've at least made him godlike (combination of all previous chars or better :) )

Big problem

The game is really fun but if you don't beat it in a day you basically get screwed. All your progress goes away. This happened twice to me
