Decent
I don't know why most people are hating on this... It's great compared to some smups out there, however still have some flaws;
I found that Ion Flux was much better compared to the Omni Wave due to most of the enemies shooting back at you if you hit them. The OW covers most of the screen, hitting more enemies, therefore forcing you to dodge more bullets.
From the beginning you can choose any level you want to go to. After the first couple levels, I got the Trilaser and just went to the second last level and grinded until i got to the Ion Flux, easily allowing me to plat the lower levels and gain Attractor and Shields.
My suggestions for future games would be to make levels available only after unlocking them, however make them re-playable so that we may gain levels.
Further upgrades you may wish to include would be to include different styles of weapons, i.e. beam weapons, wave weapons, etc, as well as adding a shop where you can buy side crafts which auto-fire bullets, missiles, etc. Bomb purchases would be better too, rather than earning them only in the level.

More Power
There needs to be a better weapon after Omni Wave to be able to 100% lvl 24... otherwise great game

Very fun!
I really, really enjoy playing this game. Simple and fun, solid controls, etcetera etcetera. I like how quickly it becomes chaotic. Suggestions: 8-bit music, and a new shield mechanism. 8-bit music would obviously fit this better. Sorsorsor has a good idea for a shield, a couple of the levels are just too difficult to have the limit on shields that you've alotted. I have completely maxed out the ship, and can't seem to beat the last few levels.
Anyway, good game! I hope to see those small improvements in the near future.
