Move platform using arrow keys
Fire orbs/balls using space.

Bouncing is a bit glitchy at times, did this in under a week so didn't have to much time optimizing and fixing bugs.

Fair points in the reviews, well I just put it up anyways, was just a last project in a school course.
If I had more time for the project (which is over already) I would have improved the menu and instructions and probably added sounds. However sounds were a low priority since they wouldn't affect the gameplay.

Ideally my idea brainstorming included special effects for bouncing on different blocks, as well as item spawns(ball splitter, speed up/down) or so, also planned to add so the speed of the platform would set spin on the ball or at least change the direction more than it currently is.

As most probably have noticed its not really a finished product however I won't work any more on it (for now at least) since I don't have time for it, just figured I'd put it up here for fun anyways and for some feedback obviously.

Lousy instructions, no music

1. No instructions about the type of blocks, or how to destroy each of them, or about anything. And that sentence at the beginning of the game is NOT an instruction.

2. There is no music. A game like this needs some ambient music. The predictable path of the balls gets boring, so you need a good track to keep my attention.

p.s. this can be enjoyable game, if you put more work on the design. Make it appealing, many people will like it even if it is crappy. And this game is not. But it has crappy design.

It's a good idea, but..

There's no sound. That's a real killer for me.

Fair is fair

I didn't have enough time to watch it.

Flydiverny responds:

The optimizing part isn't really noticeable to the player its just that some code parts could have been done more effectively like the collision detection to allow for more simultaneous orbs etc. Also the bouncing works for the most part considering some people wont even notice it bugging.
