This game is large in size and may take a while to load. It also uses a lot of processing power and is recommended that you play it on a computer with 1-2 gig of ram and a decent CPU.

Battle for Wayland Keep is a prelude to the upcoming game "Ortus", which has been in development for almost a year. This 'minigame' (Battle for Wayland Keep) was put together to give players a sample of the history of the world in Ortus, and a 'tip-of-the-iceberg' sample of some of the game mechanics we have been building for Ortus.

-Mouse to move/select abilities
-WASD/arrows to control the camera
-SPACE BAR to toggle PAUSE, you can issue commands while paused

If you are having issues with loading or bugs, please inform us so we can try and make your experience more enjoyable :)

Some minor adjustments

I like the game but there are two things I didn't ike:

The voice saying "The are attacking the gate of Wayland Keep" or something similar is very annoying. Yeah I know they are attacking that gate. What other gate is there to attack? The whole point is to protect that one gate.
The second thing is the scrolling sensitivity when moving the mouse to the bottom. Every time I want to use an attack, the screen scrolls down a bit. Very annoying as well. (Yes I know I can use the hotkeys, but I prefer to use the mouse).
Other than that: nice game.

Really cool game, and to think this is just a demo! Even before the actual game began, it made me think of Lord of the rings. Which i love because I'm a total LotR fan.

A few tips though. The voices in the dialogues are hard to understand because of the music, which is too loud. You might wanna turn it down a little.
Also, a very minor bug, the standard cursor becomes visible about every second and then disappears.
The texts in the dialogues (yet the dialogues again :p) are a tad small, makes it hard to read.
