- UPDATE: May 20th 2011 - Daily 4th Place!? Wow! I earned Daily 5th Place twice for two of my previous Flash submissions (i.e. "Dani California" and "I Am Kira"), so I consider this a pretty big accomplishment! Thank you so much for your support!
You may remember seeing my joke submission for this year's April Fool's Day titled "Fantasia: Road to Ambition Opening?" It was really just a really, really, really short Flash submission showing Thomas the Tank Engine's O-Face (meme originated by KeeperofPorridge).
As promised, here is the opening sequence for my conceptual 2D fighting game "Fantasia: Road to Ambition." I created it using Adobe Flash CS5 for my final major project at Cleveland College of Art and Design (Green Lane Campus).
This opening sequence was heavily influenced by several opening sequences for existing fighting games including "The King of Fighters '96" and "The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match."
I hope you enjoy watching this opening sequence as much as I enjoyed drawing and animating it!
