Hey there Newgrounds, it sure has been a while since I uploaded anything substantial.
This is the tale of a young child and his imagination, based on the characters Allen and Merve created by my friend Jim Hort around 5 or 6 years ago when we were both in High School. I always liked the characters and wanted to tell some sort of origin story for the pair. Any meaning deeper then that you can decide for yourself.
This film was started over 2 years ago, first as a music video for a band, then after that fell apart it very much became its own thing. During the production of this film I have changed home 3 times, jobs twice, and god knows what other madness. I never want to take this long to complete anything ever again.
Heres hoping this film gets my butt back into gear and back on track with my film making.

Amazing
Simply brilliant! I don't know what the guy below me is smoking (niiicckkmaheeya) but if you can get bored while watching this then you clearly don't have an imagination, nor do you know what good animation is. Keep it up man!

That kid was on an acid trip.
Its sad we live in a world where use of the imagination is delegated only to those who take drugs.

To say I was excited for this would be -
a severe understatement! I utterly loved this, the childlike innocents, the unparalleled horizons of imagination, plus a little of that more... I hesitate to say "gross" or "unpleasant" but, just that kind of Gerkinman humor that we love to say "ew" and then laugh at. I also love how far your pushing the visuals, you have such surreal landscapes you'd think this boy's fantasies woud look less vivid in comparison, but no, it still looks great! Great to se content from ya again, and I love the direction your going.
Thanks old friend. Can only get more surreal from here, well I suppose it could get less, but that would be boring.

Love love LOOOOVED IT!
I loved this animation, I love your style, the music, and the animation. It was innocent but yet deep.
