The Killer was inspired by the month I spent traveling through and learning about Cambodia. You can learn more at GameTrekking.com.

UPDATE: for those who may find the music overbearing, there is an ambient version of The Killer available at http://www.gametrekking.c om/the-games/cambodia/the -killer/play-now

Seriously?

This is not a game. Honestly I would give this at least a few stars if there were any element of gameplay, or strategy, or anything. However, this is just another mindless piece of "indie" bullshit that will get a ton of 10's from people pretending to know/care about whatever cause you're trying to exploit. Way to take suffering into the mainstream, dickhead.

FYI, I know this will get deleted, because NG is a fucking ballpit of preteen orgasms.

There's some debate, but overall people find this review helpful

very touching.....

4/5 8/10,,,, its rare to see something this emotional on newgrounds that captivates suffering and war like this. i didnt recognize it immediately as the mer rouge conflict / genocide at first. when i saw the tropical trees and go holding a digital m-16 i thought it was columbia or salvador...... still this is pretty good, simple pixel art to explain a period in human history that most people dont know about.

Good.

Eventhough the music does most of the work (yay Yonsi!), I like the simplicity and the message. It moved me but since you did half of the job I can't give you more than a 6.
