Well the game loaded and then something wierd happened. It lets me click on forum and about, but it won't let me click on sign in. So with that in mind I don't have much else to say.

Great game...a few issues...

Note: This is actually Jmb301530. I can't edit my review...so I did this instead.

If my last review is here (Jmb301530), ignore it. This game is a beautiful game. It's highly nostalgic, and it really captures the tabletop element. The 4 classes are balanced, and the gameplay is true to its tabletop predecessors. I love the detailed storyline. The only problems that I can find with this game are:

1. Can't find any games in lobby/have trouble making lobby games.

2. Some of the item descriptions are misleading (I bought an Exorcist Sword, expecting it to add an additional 2 attack die, instead it limited me to 2 attack die unless I was fighting an undead, and I presume the same thing applies for the Holy Sword as well...also dual wielding Daggers doesn't add +2 to your # of attack die...I believe it should since it says that it adds an extra attack die, so if you're dual wielding them, you should get +2 attack die.)

3. Silver can be a pain to grind.

4. Why do we start with less than full HP/MP? And I didn't see any HP/MP potions in the shop. I did find ONE HP potion in the 1st dungeon (tutorial one).

5. How do we know how much MP spells take?

6. I just found out only mages and hunters can use spells. So why give other classes MP? Also, why isn't this seemingly listed anywhere obvious?

7. In relation to #6, I now wonder if hunters can use the Heavy Sword, or if that is only available for Warriors/Avengers? I mean it should be listed in the description if something can only be used by a certain class. Also, is the Leather Armor which only costs 2625 supposed to have the same effect as that plate armor next to it which costs ALOT more? Is it class-restricted? It would be great to have this information available to us BEFORE we buy things.

8. Include a place to sell unwanted items. I bought the Exorcist Sword, probably will never use it because I didn't know it reduced your attack to only 2 die, and I'd love to get even part of my 2625 gold that I paid for it back.

9. Why are spells single use only? I mean they're pretty expensive (Not referring to the "free" ones.)

10. There is a bug where, lets say you have 1 HP. You search a room. It's a trap, it does 1 HP damage to you, leaving you at 0 HP. You should be dead, right? Well you're not. Even if you're at 0 and you get hit by another trap while searching, you don't die. You continue getting -1 HP everytime, and it just builds up.

11. There's another thing that I'll message you about, because of possible abuse of it.

Anyhow, overall, even with some flaws, I love this game! 10/10 and 5/5!

Hey John

Thanks for both reviews - good to see people playing the game. Thanks for the feedback, I think some of the issues you pointed out were just introduced as we had to bundle everything into one swf file for uploads - we'll get them fixed as soon as we can. I'll go through them here though:

1) We literally just went live so as more people come onboard and play there should be games availbale in the lobby - MP is pretty fun so I recommend giving it a try

2) Not sure what's happening with the weapons here, I'll take a look

3) Sorry on the silver - we will be tweaking, it was super easy to grind it out so we had to make it a little harder.

4) HP and KP were going to be in the shop from the outset but we ran out of time - each character starts with different HP - the mage has the least and the warrior the most - in time we'll introduce those into the shop

5) Again, ran out of time a bit here so they don't for the time being - bonus if your a mage or avenger

6) Sorry on the signposting here - the KP were for something else as well originally - again, it's another coming soon

7) they can, the leather armors desc is wrong to - that's the desc for the kings armor

8) Blacksmith coming soon

9) It was way too easy if you always had the spell - we made the decision to make them single use

10) Investigating

11) no problem - let me know

Thanks for the feedback - really great you're enjoying it - spread the word:)

Ed

Seems like it would be fun...

This game sound like fun, but so far I haven't found a single game in the lobby. Also when I went to create a public 2 player game, it has been having this screen that says "Sent message to server requesting public instant match. Numplayers[2] QuestID[2]" and it's been staying there for like...5 minutes so far. I've given it an 8 star rating atm, because it seems like it will be a great game that I enjoy, provided that it holds true to many tabletop rules, and I took off 2 stars because of the long time it takes to request to setup a public game, and because there is no single player option with AI that I have found so far.
