Your goal is to move all the disks from the left-most pole to the right-most pole. You can only pick up the top disk in a stack and you CANNOT place a larger disk on top of a smaller one.

Press "S" to pick up and place a disk. Move the selector and any disk you're holding from pole to pole with the "A" and "D" keys.

Once you master the puzzle there are medals and a scoreboard for fast times.

This is the first in a series of games based on my academic projects. I originally created it in 3D, with a few extra bells and whistles, using OpenGL. That being said it's still a one off. I'll return to making games with a lot of pointless violence and gore soon.

Made it so you can't cheat any more. FOR SHAME, anyone that already did.

Added a new scoreboard to eliminate false results. New scores will go to the Towers of Annoy 2012 board. The old ones can still be viewed in the 2011 board but the top 9, at the very least, are from low down, dirty cheaters!

Supposing it starts at 300k and counts DOWN as seconds tick by which is how I suspect it scores it, that means that someone who got 295k supposedly beat it in 5 seconds. Which is BS. I'm borderline superhuman myself. no one can do it in 5 seconds. No one. So I'm confident the top 4 of the top scores are cheats of some sort. Though POSSIBLY it could be the result of a laggy computer, if it determines seconds by ticks in a counter in the game and not the cpu time or something. Maybe that's how they cheated, they set their system clocks right before doing the last move, or something like that. And then it suddenly drops down from 295k to 282k. I can believe that someone did it in 18 seconds if I did it in 24 (my score is 276k) after going at it for 10 minutes with this rotten computer (and I hate the controls, the ASD buttons, what the hell), so supposing that is the first REAL score and all the ones below that are REAL, then I just got 5th place. And first place, for so far in 2014. Yeah ok I can settle for that. If I made use of the fact that you can go from the right column to the left column by pressing right once instead of left twice, or from the left column to the right column by pressing left once instead of right twice, I could have shaved off a few more moments if I got myself into the habit of doing that instead of hitting the button twice to go the long way from one side to the other, and a few more milliseconds to seconds with some more practice, if I really tried.

I like the premise for the game. And the bullhorn as the starter sound, it's fitting.

Man really took everything I had to get 270000 for the final medal.

Strange thing is I did it at a mellow speed and did almost as well because I wasn't making speed mistakes. My dyslexia seems to get in the way the faster I try to think and move.

Happens with fps too, the more hyped I am the more I get slaughtered, relaxed I'm a killing machine.

either the score and medals are broken or the whole game is broken because the fast i beat it makes the score keep hitting 0. i timed my self i got 30 seconds and it still hit 0

Wow, interesting

I thought it was going to be a game where you climbed up to a tower judging by the name. It really did turn out to be something truly original! What I do have to complain about, is that it is fairly hard to beat. The worst thing would be that there are so many scenarios for you to go around and play the game, but only one to win. Or at least there are very few to win. The other thing I had a problem with was that the graphics were not that good.

It could have also used some music. It still gets a good review because it's unbelievable how hard this can be. You would think something with such an easy design would be too easy to beat. You really did trick us into thinking that this would be a far easier game. Congradulations on your success with these games and getting medals!
