Decent Game. A bit on the easy side.

Mechanics are solid, and I enjoyed the attributes system. All the guns work and sound well. The flashlight and clever enemy placement could potentially make for some tense moments.

A few complaints:

1) I never once got below 50 health on this game, except for the first level where you're ambushed by about 20 zombies (that was rather awesome by the way). Afterwards, it was a walk in the park. The easiness of the game stemmed from a combination of both overpowered weapons design and item pick-ups. I leveled my handgun and spammed the crap out of it, headshots galore, etc. since it had infinite ammo and great stopping power once you maxed precision.
Speaking of ammo... I never ran out of that either(partial because I mained the pistol). You also handed out weapons upgrades like candy.

I feel that the pistol doesn't fill the right role(i.e. a back-up/defensive weapon).

To fix this problem, you can:
a) Reduce Pistol Damage/Accuracy
b) Change Pistols to have limited (but moderately available) ammo
c) All of the Above

2) No variation in Objectives

In this order, the game gives you a search mission, a search mission, and a search and destroy mission. Try mixing up the story elements a bit! I wouldn't mind suddenly having to defend an area for a certain amount of time, or doing an escort mission.

3) Needs more Nade

I only threw one grenade in-game...and it was by accident. If at all possible, I'd like to see situations where I'd actually need one.

Don't get me wrong, though. I do like your game. The concept of clearing a dark room full of zombies is exciting, and you're pulling it off decently. I look forward to your next ZitS game.

tl;dr - Game is too easy due to overpowered weapons, and frequent item pick-ups. In addition, there needs to be more mission types, and grenade moments. It's still fun.

THIS. IS. EPIC!

Awesome game, loved the story too, and the twist at the end! I need to see the sequel now XD
Btw, are those cards based on that gladiator game launched a while ago, where you can hire help? (can't remember the name)

Xplored responds:

The cards refer to the "Apokalyx" RPG flashgame we released in 2010.
In case you wanna refresh it, just search the title here on NG or have alook to the minisite www.apokalyx.com
Thank you for the 10!
