One day, while you're testing a level for a developer friend of yours, you accidentally discover a hidden world inside the game. Alphaland is the story of exploring that world.
Arrow keys or WASD to move
Up/W/X/Space to jump
[Alphaland is a minimalistic platformer. It's pretty straightforward to play, so I'd rather not say too much and let you explore it yourselves. I hope you enjoy it!]
very awsome and u have to kinda think but not really comlicated but interesting 10 stars 5/5
Something worth thinking about.
The combination of the very simplistic platforming elements, and the idea that the blue pixel grouping (not necessarily you) is the game, and is living it's life, afraid for the end, afraid of it's imperfections, is a great analogy to the human condition. We all have to jump though hoops, do seemingly meaningless things, double back, and learn from our failures. To take a religious view to it and see this world below as fallen and imperfect, yet still beautiful, it speaks to our twin desires to reach perfection, and to stay where we are, safe. We don't know what comes next, and that scares us.
I really have no idea how to describe this game...It makes no sense, yet perfect sense. It's one of those things that makes you take a second thought on humanity, of course I still haven't changed my mind on the fact yet.
Just the first thing that came to mind if you don't agree I don't mind.
