Author Comments

One day, while you're testing a level for a developer friend of yours, you accidentally discover a hidden world inside the game. Alphaland is the story of exploring that world.

Arrow keys or WASD to move
Up/W/X/Space to jump

[Alphaland is a minimalistic platformer. It's pretty straightforward to play, so I'd rather not say too much and let you explore it yourselves. I hope you enjoy it!]

Awesome

This is what happens when you open up a NES/SNES/GBA rom with a tile editor.

On the subject of the game itself, I loved it. It was confusing and frustrating at times. Other times it was humorous (the text anyway). Still other times I felt sorry for the blue block (like other users).

I liked the concept, I liked the style, and I liked the gameplay. I personally would like to see another game similar to it. You could even go so far as to say a sequel, sine I'm supposing the blue block became a world of its own. A "new" Alphaland.
