Math & Magic - The Dungeon of Noremberc is a dungeon RPG with turn-based battles.
Numbers have a peculiar importance in this game: If you manage to manipulate them at your will, your journey will be easier!

* An old school 8-bit style: big pixels, chiptunes, minimal in-game explanations, hardcore difficulty.
* A comprehensive 17 pages long Tutorial.
* 3 (4?) different characters, each one having his own save slot.
* Autosave.
* 10,000,000 floors to explore (no joke!). Using your brain will allow you to skip most of them and reach the most interesting ones (those with rare treasures).
* 3 different endings.
* An unlockable 46 pages long Bonus section containing anecdotes, artworks, enemy files, secrets, and a sound test!

Controls: Use the arrow keys to move, ENTER to confirm or pause/unpause the game.

Completing the game on 2 different save slots will unlock a 4th character.
Completing the game with all 4 characters will unlock the Bonus Section.

This game hasn't been made with Adobe Flash but with SWiSH Max 3.

There's a blog about the development of the game: http://mathandmagic.blogs (sorry, it's only in french).

Math and Magic is an 8 bit math themed dungeon RPG. If you really enjoy math, than this is the game for you. If you dislike math, than stay far away. The graphics could be better, and there should be more options and content.

To get the red chest on floor 7, use bomb on floor 6 up until the open block. then stay there and gain one xp

A novel idea but doesn't work out that great imo.

Starts off frustratingly hard with enemies easily able to kill you and players being forced to repeat identical sections, then for those who can slog through that (and I only managed it as I have a fondness for hard rpgs) the game gets fun and exciting for a pit... then repetive and diffcultt again. Then you overcome that and... it becomes near impssiable to die as you can heal past the enemies damage with inteligent use of the defend command, and battles just become a long repetive slog.

At least it provies some novelty, but you should have tested the floors in the 5 digit range because the battles get REALLY boring
