GemCraft Labyrinth v.1.20 changes & fixes:
(2012.VII.02.)
-Hue mismatch of purple gems (in-game vs map info panel) fixed
-Some more typos fixed
-Field G7 has all gem types available now
-Added the text "Ctrl-click to send all remaining waves" to wavestone info panels
-To improve performance, only 7 monsters get drawn at a time per tile
-The awful lag caused by the limetrap exploit was fixed while trying to keep the exploitable nature (not to ruin the fun)
-When using the wild gem skill, it was impossible to achieve the "no more than 2 gems while spending 5.000 mana" journey amulet with 2 gems

Very addictive!
I haven't managed to get to the end yet (hell, I'm not even halfway there), but I think I can safely say this is one of the better games I've played here. It's clear you've put a lot of work into this; the graphics are lovely, and the skill and battle settings are nice and flexible. Field B12 in particular is awesome. It should have its own Facebook fan page or something.

Love it.
Always loved GC games and this one lived up to the expectations, good job. Had alot of fun hours grinding back and forth, tho the only really problem is the premium thing, aside from that its perfect.

Wondering, when is this coming to android?

Godlike
I've always liked playin gemcraft but i got one major issue with the previous games: the difficulty. I remember playing the previous games, and i liked them a lot, but after a few levels they became quite hard and I ragequited a lot.
Now in this version of the game you've made a big improvement by letting the players decide how big the challenge is, making the game as hard as you want it to be without having the option to make it al too easy.
The graphics are nice and the setting is correct. Just a small point of criticism on this part is that most of the monsters look like lobsters instead of foul creatures. Some additional scenery might be a good thing but it's not really critical.
The gameplay part is very good, combining the powers of multiple gems is really brilliant. The power towers might be a bit underpowerd (i actually don't really use them). The walls are brilliant as wel, giving the game an extra puzzle element. Maybe an extra endless mode would give the game that extra replay value.
The story does keeps the gameplay less tedious and makes you wonder wtf is going on in that labyrinth, it makes you more eager to finish the game when you meet the first epic field and notice the shadows in the water :)
Sound: nothing special but it does the trick.
Coding: it runs smooth, no pathfinding issues (although the AI might be a bit smarter so the creatures would avoid walking next to a gem when they have the chance) and no bugs are encounterd. Saving the game was no problem as well.
I don't really understand some of the comments below, especially those about grinding. I didn't really have to repeat some of the first levels to advance in the later ones. In fact, i enjoyed repeating some of the first levels to kick some ass with my new skills.
Thanks for this nice game and kudos :)
