Hi my name is Arty McArtson, I am a first year art major at the Art Institute of Williamsburg. I just took my first intro to philosophy course last semester, and now I understand everything about the world! Please enjoy my new postmodern piece, Dear Diary. It is a subtle yet poignant criticism of the modern "doggy dog" society we live in. I hope you enjoy it, and, if you don't, it's probably just too deep for you!

Possibly interesting game on the whole making fun of the generic art game thing, but the repetitive gameplay and lack of anything really funny makes it seem more like a shitty art game than a parody of one. I don't really care if that was the statement he was trying to make, it's not fun.

Personally I have an issue with any "art" which someone claims to have deep meaning when their "art" is a random mess, which at times looks like they tossed a bucket of paint at a canvas or randomly welded metal together they found in a scrap heap.

Thing is, most art games aren't made with the intention of making "an ok game with a generic statement", they try to make "a great game with a great message" and just fail (that's why this parody doesn't really work). Subtlety is a hard thing to achieve. Ultimately, I think it's good that they are being made, even if they aren't all great. Sometimes the message will be too explicit, and other times it will be nonexistent, but we can't get good games if we don't play and make bad ones. It's a very young industry and experimentation is key to any kind of innovation.

Really creative and nice, and even though I still need to try 10 times to get up stairs, I'm giving you 5 stars.
