This is just a short animation to advertise a webcomic I have been working on for the past few weeks.

Its also somewhat of an experiment at seeing how well I can convert my usual art style into an animated format.

that poor dino

life must suck as a dino p.s. how did the cookies get up there in the 1st place lol

the only bad thing is its kinda short

Thank you!
There are many mysteries surrounding the life of the Dino...

Your the first person that has said it was too SHORT rather than too long!
I was never really intending this to be particularly long.
Poor Dino is primarily a comic to me, and I think if I started getting into animations of it too much it would distract me from my primary focus.
Though hearing that people liked my art style when used in animation has strengthened my determination to make more animations.
Hopefully the next one I make will be lengthy enough for you!

I was laughing pretty hard when I figured out the dino was crying over the cookies. The only advice I can give is to speed the animation up a bit

The only real complaint about the animation so far seems to be that it takes too long, but I cant really edit that without ruining the synchronization with the music...
But I will definitely keep that in mind whenever I next animate something.
Note to self: no more slow.

Crying dino

I like the art style of this. When it showed the eye, I was hoping that it would cry. You did not disappoint.

keep it up.

2 things

Hey there, i'll tell you what i think. it may not like it.

1. FADE TO BLACK: It's SO annoying! and slow! maybe if you do it faster it'll be less annoying, that or getting rid of it completely.

2. SLOWNESSS: the scenes go on so slow, it's not like there's a lot going on and we are not gonna get it if it's not slow motion. I mean it looks like you are making it slowe so it last longer. Probably not a good idea. More content would be nice.

Sorry if that was a little harsh, not my intention, came out like that u know :P

perpetual-mind responds:

Thank you very much for your opinions!
I know the animation is quite slow, as it is intended to be a mockery of overly dramatic movie trailers that are all shot in slow motion.
The fading is synched in time with the music, so i cant really edit it to be sped up any unless i find another piece of music that fits the piece so well...
I shall however keep these things in mind whenever I make my next animation!
