**Note: Yes there is a lot of words. This is an INTERACTIVE VISUAL NOVEL. So reviews that say there is a lot of words, that shouldn't be a bad point, Take this for what it is, not what you expect it to be. Thanks.**

Created for Newgrounds Game Jam 4.

Team Mohawk Dairy!

Our handicap was that all graphics had to be created OUTSIDE of flash.
We went with a hand drawn and scanned, classic retro feel.

Everything was created in 72 hours.
The story was written in 72 hours.
The art was done in 72 hours.
the code was written in 72 hours.

Hope you enjoy.

Can you get All 4 endings?
True ending is the best.

great work in under 72 hourse

you've accomplished a lot in those 72 hours, the graphics are simplistic but effective, the story was intriguing, the multiple endings are all fascinating, especially the true ending, the music fits the story and setting very well. Overall a great game. Now the suggestions, i think it's better if you drew more pics for the lines rather than having one picture for a whole bunch of lines so there's more pacing and people won't complain about having to many words. Also having more control of the characters would be appreciated> There were times where i though i could choose what the the protagonist can do and it turns out that he chose it for me, for example, should i trust orion at the first place, or what dialogue should i choose to say when in a conversation. I think that it will be a more immersive experience. Oh and definitely add a go back to last choice button so that i don't have to repeat the whole thing again. But really, you and the other two have created something really nice in just a short time, i'm really looking forward to what you have to offer us in the futre ;)

ps and i love all the cultural references too, lol at the mansion that whips it hair back and forth

The design was the key of game succes

First i could never think this is a horror story...u have a rich imagination...actually that glowing green think is...yellow? And i still dont know why where those lines drew on the womans flesh...It was pretty good that the people arent drown too realistic...also the music matched to the uncolored images...remember that the story must be as important as its design...i like the games with different endings...I wanted more than 4...have you seen The Sagittarian 2 the game? It has lots of endings...yes not many but the story gone could add more endings if u could have more variants...and what does have in common the alien ending with the story situation? Anyway...if that guy is myself why is called Orion and not Marsh? And what about the giant chicken? I wonder why is a score like that...some games have weaker subject but they have a higher score...some people dont think out of the box...

It was an interesting game, nice artwork and funny humour. But I did notice some glitches like, after I shot Norm he came back and yelled at me and then "Orion" shot him. The looping of music was kind of boring, but quiet enough so you had time to think. One quick idea, maybe add a button that says "Go back to last mistake" I really hate going back and doing everything over again. Anway, it was clever and nice, a few fixes and it should be great:)

Norm wasn't really dead. That is a simple enough explanation.
This was short, but again, as I have said, the next one will have a continue option.

Pretty fun

It was fun and im not going to go over all the same stuff that everyone seems to say... you know what needs to be fixed already and have addressed those issues.

For being made in 72 hours im impressed. The only thing I didnt like about the game was the amount of text. I know its a interactive visual novel but damn there where some points where I just kept clicking and clicking to get it over with. The lack of checkpoints was partially responsible but putting in a little less text and more action. A little more interactivity as well... I cant help but thinking of Goosebumps choose your own adventure books while playing games like these but those books had an insane amount of endings... this only 4 :(

tenentenen responds:

We wanted more endings and choices and such, but time constraints, you know?
Keep an eye out for another games, similar style, but more interactive, and better overall..
