Arrow Keys - Move / Aim
Z - Shoot
X - Jump
C - Change Weapons
Spacebar - Pause / Open Map

You can also use WASD to move and JKL to shoot/jump/change weapons, however on some browsers/keyboards you may run into issues with too many keys being pressed at once, nothing I can do about that.

If you have a PC Gamepad, I highly recommend using the Joy2Key Software. You can download it: here:

Saving - Progress through the stage is saved automatically at every major checkpoint. If you have to leave and come back, your progress will still be there!

Bugs - If you do find a bug, please report it to me via PM. Be as descriptive as you can, I can't fix things if I don't know what went wrong!

Sticky Keys Bug - If the keys feel like they're sticking, character keeps running after you let go, please read the third post in this thread: /bbs/topic/1123318
This is a bug with some browsers/systems and there's really nothing I can do to fix it.
Well, this is it, the final stage. I hope those that have enjoyed the game up until now agree that I've saved the best for last, just don't expect the journey left to come to be an easy one.

Weak ending to an overall weak series.

Well, I reviewed the first one, played all the ones in between and thought I'd review the final one.

You obviously didn't bother listening to any criticism that people left earlier and kept churning this game out, and I have to say, the presentation actually improved. It seems the animations in this are much less static than at first.

However, the game is still a copy of Contra or those type of side scrolling shooters. The problem I have with the game is it's just NOT fun, at all. This is mostly due to level design and graphics. You have some scenarios where the player is forced to take damage, making it impossible for people to get the thrill of perfecting a level. The player is rarely rewarded for completing tasks.

In fact, this is the only game I have ever seen on the front banner that doesn't have medals. There is no sense of achievement besides the following cutscenes and some weak extras. On top of that, the level design is just bad, I often found myself forced to go into a corner as I was ambushed by so many enemies, and then I had to sacrifice health just to get past them. The game is challenging, but in a really cheap way which requires no skill. The mantra is about as deep as "take as little damage as you can if you want to make it past".

Another problem is the graphics, each little section/map or whatever you want to call them look so boring and bland. There is very little interactivity and a big lack of collectables or anything to keep people replaying a level.

But besides that, it was pretty good. I couldn't take any of the cutscenes seriously because they basically consisted of a static facing with a mouth moving up and down, and the rest of the game was just a collection of tweens. A skip button would've been nice too (I'm not one to talk, however...heheh).

I see little that you could add to this that could improve it, the whole 2d shooter thing is only fun with upgrades and jetpacks and a whole shit ton of abilities that games like LittleBigPlanet 2 and Metal Slug have solidified. Better luck on your future endeavors.

Looks like something you would make on yoyogames, but this is pretty decent. The voice acting is superb.

this game really does a great throwback to old school games... the pixelated graphics makes sure of that (whether you want them to or not) but everything else is just so good it makes it up greatly. 1 small glitch I did find though is (for whatever awful reason) it started to lag, and kept lagging even more and more. closing the game out and reopening it fixed it completely though.

messing with the types of guns you have was a very nice change of pace as well from the other stages... the story may have been a bit cliched but it still make for an amazing final boss fight.

the only other thing that really annoyed me though... is it just me, or did the pre-loader screen somehow seem straight of starwars?

Cool Game

But the play was kind of repetitive, and I kept tricking the AI in order to get through. Nice voice acting, maybe take a little time to shade the characters with lighter and darker hues of the same color, overall, well done.

Great to see the interaction

It's weird how this managed to get Daily Feature when it currently has a rating of only 3.49. Still, it is a new part in this series. I did not find this as enjoyable as some entries, because I am too used to fighting robots which are easier to kill. It was interesting to see the other character come with you. I have at least been following this series as long as it's been popular, so it's great to see it concluded. I had no idea Kirbopher was going to be a voice in this!

Speaking of voices, I was also really impressed by the number of voice actors not to mention songs. I think the animation may in fact be a little better than the previous entries. It still doesn't look great, but it's not terrible either. The cutscenes seem to really play off the character's emotions well too. I have gotten used to the controls.
