Play stage 3 here: portal/view/566564
Play stage 4 here: portal/view/566734
Play stage 6 here: portal/view/567109

CONTROLS:
Arrow Keys - Move / Aim
Z - Shoot
X - Jump
C - Change Weapons
Spacebar - Pause / Open Map

You can also use WASD to move and JKL to shoot/jump/change weapons, however on some browsers/keyboards you may run into issues with too many keys being pressed at once, nothing I can do about that.

========================
PLAY WITH A CONTROLLER:
========================
If you have a PC Gamepad, I highly recommend using the Joy2Key Software. You can download it: here: http://bit.ly/NCx4h

Saving - Progress through the stage is saved automatically at every major checkpoint. If you have to leave and come back, your progress will still be there!

Bugs - If you do find a bug, please report it to me via PM. Be as descriptive as you can, I can't fix things if I don't know what went wrong!

Sticky Keys Bug - If the keys feel like they're sticking, character keeps running after you let go, please read the third post in this thread: http://www.newgrounds.com /bbs/topic/1123318
This is a bug with some browsers/systems and there's really nothing I can do to fix it.

Update: Version 2 is now up. I made Polmire easier on easy.

:O!!

Again, this feels like it was made for a younger generation.
Like, much younger, around 14 years old and under.
It's sadly not something most of the older generation of gamers that lurks on Newgrounds will appreciate.
The story is very simple, not much thought or effort put into it, as it mostly feels like you just Frankenstein'd elements from various other game or tv series and slapped 'em all together (Dragonball, Gradius, Megaman, etc.).
The graphics are, once again, nothing to write home about. They're functional, but not very appealing. The heroine is... not very attractive, spending more time on her looks would have definitely increased your scores. Yes, the enemies are plentiful, but they're all a clusterfuck of geometric shapes filled with gradients. Again, the lack of thought or effort put into them is glaring.
The music, I have nothing to say against for the most part, mostly because it's thankfully the only aspect of the game you didn't create or contribute to.
Voices are... well, they're crisp and clean, but the script is still too tired and generic. The VAs sound like they're dubbing a pokémon episode.
Gameplay is not too bad, but definitely not the best. Everyone's been asking why Z and X and well, seems pretty obvious to me that it's because on most SNES and GBA emulators, the A and B buttons are set by default to X and Z respectively. To anyone who's never played games on an emulator before, these settings obviously won't feel very intuitive or logical.
All in all, another rushed chapter in the hunter series, which is really sad. You've got the drive to make a game, somthing that most people lack, but you just don't seem to have the desire to improve yourself. You've ignored all constructive reviews and only acknowledged the bug reports/e-peen strokes.
I doubt anyone would have complained if you'd have found someone more talented to take care of of the game's graphics halfway through the chapters.
Sometimes you need to put public appeal above "series consistency".
I'm not expecting anything new from the final Hunter installment.
Best of luck on future projects.

good, entertaining

sadly i consider it repetitive, even is entertaining i suggest to modify the
graphics, at least just a little bit beacuse in the end, all of them, even the persons who write childish reviews will give bad ratings

still was good if its going to be considered a "First Project"
but if something is the same, the others will get tired of this game and
will end giving up a 0 - 5 wich is most common in people who has bad
reputation or just haters....

sorry for that, is beacuse im getting tired of bad revews just for something
simple

anyway, i still like the game and the storyline but i can see some bugs
still was good, congrats, and i suggest to modify something to
the graphics

the rate will be the same anyways

Not Bad At All

I personally like this game. I can look pass the graphics and and get into the story. I like the voices and the story so far. The bosses are a little easy but thats because I've been a gamer for over 10 years now lol. Keep up the good work, and for those who keep bitching about the graphics, just think back to Nintendo... We didnt need mind blowing graphics for a game to be kick ass

Argh.

I don't understand why you are making 6 bad games with terrible, boxy graphics (some games are boxy for the artistic style, but this one isn't). The controls are god-awful and adding some fancy voice acting won't even cover up the fact that the game is boring.

This pretty much feels like taking a huge shit: It's only good when it's finally over.
Then metaphorically speaking I have to clean myself playing something decent afterwards.
