i spent ages on this. it's my first madness animation (dont count casey the punsiher, i made that during this)
if people like it i may stop playing tf2 long enough to make a sequel.
Final note: if you like the music, check out DJ-Fantasy, he has heaps of cool music
EDIT: if you watched this when it was first uploaded, i fixed the screen issue :(
EDIT 2: WOW! 3rd place, must be better than i thought! :D
- i got front paged? thats awesome! :D thanks to all people who made that happen, newgrounders and newground mod team and the like
- thanks heaps for the feedback, i've been using it all as i make the next one
that was AWESOME, best madness video EVER, make a sequal!
LOVED the freehand stuff blended in there, very well done. Fit in nicely with what you were doing. Everything about this is superb, It's just the ending lacked a sort of escape/buildup/cliffhanger feel to it. I did crack up when the big guy was de-masked and had a goofy face under there.
wow, i'ts krinkles 0.o
thanks for the review man, that means heaps!
i know the ending was a bit.... crappy... i oversteped the time i wanted to fit it into and had to make it a tad shorter, just a noob mistake, now im making animatons with that in mind :)
also, glad you noticed his face, he was a tester for making my charachters with more than lines for faces, and he worked very well i think.
That was fantastic! Interesting story, great personal addition to the style of Madness with how you demonstrated the character regaining his memory, that was fantastic, the story was simple but enjoyable nonetheless.
Probably one of the most interesting things about this particular Madness Flash animation is the fact that it probably has the smallest amount of scene changes to date and it still worked amazingly well.
The only complaint I could think of is that the second large-group fight scene where the protagonist appears from behind and mows/slices everyone down seemed a bit slow. Was that supposed to be in slow motion? I wasn't sure as there really wasn't any sign to back that up aside from a comparably slowed-down framerate.
Nevertheless, I tip my hat to you sir!
It has to be one of the best Madness shorts of all time. I can tell you put an extreme amount of detail in making sure each scene worked fluently while maintaining the action and thrill of classic Madness moments.
very well done
The animation was very good however the story was not 100% clear and the way some of them walkd was a bit odd. However the rest was very engoyable and a hope to see more like this.
Welcome to the end of the world
Wouldn'tyou just like to... leave conflict.
