Made my day.

I believe that the message bases around how religion has so much power in our society, and that everyone is letting religions control their thoughts. The escaped guy was one of the non-believers, who were chained away because they thought differently, and refused to the rule of the religious leader. The wizard, whom I think is the pope or something, ends up a monster, that chased the escaped man, whom only wanted freedom of opinion... the forest was probably points that the non-believer made that prove the religion to be wrong, and the mini-gun was the ignorance that religion places on people to ignore these points. I think that the non-believer dieing ended his struggle, so the world fell slave to the religion.

Just some of my thoughts from watching the video.

Amazing

This is extremely well animated. I have so many questions about the plot, but I suppose that was your intention. I have only two complaints. First, it is short, and I think extending it or making a sequel would allow you to create a more intricate and interesting story. Second, the copy on Newgrounds is hard to view on certain browsers. I had to watch the full movie on YouTube.

Huh...

So from what I've been reading in comments this can be connected to another of your works? Well this is the first I have seen and I must say I loved it. From the graphics to the music the plot kept me engaged. Quite interesting your choice of figures, I wonder if it is by choice or luck that you alluded to many classic stories (ie the mirror, bird-man, marionettes.) If you have time... and I know you must be busy and probably don't even read these but I would like to understand your reasoning behind this movie! Thanks so much for your time and effort!

This was a brilliant animation

However I didn't get an apocalypse feel from it. It was more like a Master/Slave story where one of the slaves initiates independent thought and breaks away from the hold.
