Clarence's Big Chance is a silly game where you play as an ugly, middle-aged virgin who's finally managed to get a date for the first time in his life. He doesn't want to mess it up, but he also has to go through his daily routine!
So you need to jump around platforms in four large levels, collecting items in order to make a better impression on the girl at the end.
There are five endings; the one you get is determined by how many items you collect, and whether you say the right things during the date at the end!

Nice theme

I like this game for reasons other than the gaming concept.
The humour is great and it's easy to see you weren't trying too hard (or too little), and this is the ONLY game where I find my myself reading every single sign.
The art is cute and funny, and I like the fluid, sensitive movement and jump.
The levels were smartly made and I like how I don't have to repeat the same area twice.
One star off because even though the concept is good, it still gets boring because this game is so long.
Maybe next time things like power-ups? Or even more creative, each "area" (e.g: like the bathroom, attic, parent's room...etc.) has a different type of game play

Excellent platformer/date sim

A zany romp though the world of online stalking. This game has tons of secrets and excellent replay value for the genre. The enemies are funny distorted caricatures of everyday people and things. The only rewards for killing enemies are the slim chance your meaty frame with squeeze their hearts out from their chest and the enemies not bothering you until you walk out of the area and return.

For those who want all the endings, avoid collect date items like clothes and shoes the first playthrough, but be sure to get the blue doors so you can collect them later. After showing up in your birthday suit, you can try the Return to main menu option at the end of the game instead of starting from scratch. This allows you to not have to redo things like talking to everyone in the office and driving your car through the blocks.

The map is sparse on details. It was often quicker to explore randomly than use the map to navigate, but each area is distinct enough to not need strictly need a map. Keep an eye out for paths hidden in plain sight.

Having only 4 life bars can be annoying if you are trying for the no dying achievement, but can be helped by repeatedly walking in and out of doors to kill slow moving enemies and harvest their delicious organs when you are low on health. Also, the ten second rule does not apply to hearts if you are full on health. Save them for later. They will disappear if you leave the room though.

Interesting game

I liked it. It was fun, but really long, not something you do all at once. I really like how much effort and detail was put into this. It's a good time killer.

Nice work!

As some have said this is a VERY long game but it is fun nonetheless. :-) I loved the British dialog from the NPCs and the boss's made me laugh out loud. The only thing that got on my nerves was that dreaded hooker level with the disappearing platform boxes. If you ever remake this game or edit or something PLEASE take that out, it was SO aggravating. Another thing that kind of bothered me was not being able to find the medicine or what have you to make Clarence not sick. All in all a great game! Hope to see more RPG games like this from you in the future!
