Clarence's Big Chance is a silly game where you play as an ugly, middle-aged virgin who's finally managed to get a date for the first time in his life. He doesn't want to mess it up, but he also has to go through his daily routine!
So you need to jump around platforms in four large levels, collecting items in order to make a better impression on the girl at the end.
There are five endings; the one you get is determined by how many items you collect, and whether you say the right things during the date at the end!

Finally finished...

after 4 and a half hours over like 4 days.

But i really liked it, personally. I've always been a big fan of platformers, and all these people complaining about the ice and disappearing blocks--go play some mario and practice up.

I got 95% the first time through, but i'll probably play again when i have some more time :P

Outstanding!

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Really, it's incredible! The gameplay is well thought-out and tons of fun, the controls are tight, the graphics are nice in an old-school way, the music is awesome, and it was all made by one guy. It reminds me a lot of various Wario Land games, largely due to Clarence's appearance, the way he crouch-walks, the sheer size of his house, and the many floating coins. Admittedly, there are a few things that normally bother me when I see them in other games, but I was willing to excuse them on account of this game's inherent silliness. If you're reading this, Pseudolonewolf, I want you to know that you're my new hero. If you aren't Pseudolonewolf, then play this game if you haven't already!
