This game was a labor of love. When I was a kid I used to play all of these text adventures and I really enjoyed them. So I wanted to make one myself, and I did. I also filled it full of colorful art to help keep it interesting. I know not everyone is going to like this, and I don't care. I made it for fun and if just a few people enjoy it then it was all worth it. Thanks guys, stay cool.

Notes ----------
The game autosaves any time you enter a new room, so don't worry about saving
Melee combat is automatic, just like in the old days of text games and muds. Spells however must be manually cast by the player.
If you find a relic, you can equip/dequip them under 'Equipment'
There are five Relics in the game.

I liked it a lot.

I didn't get enough leveling to see the last spell but anyway. I liked this game a lot. The art direction for the different landscapes was very nice as well as the creatures and humans/elves/dwarfs etc. I wish it could have been longer. I especially like the small descriptions you put for each square my imagination was fulfilled. And I guess the combat system was a little bit repetitive but thats what these types of rpgs do. Again I liked it It seems these types of rpgs are making a small come back. Thanks for this one and keep up the good work.

Good stuff.

I love the design of it and the art style is absolutely amazing. The only issue was that dex as a stat was far overpowered compared to the rest. Maxing dex with a little str and buying armor and weapons was simply cruise control to victory.

Seriously? That's the ending?

This game is fantastic. The graphics are good, it's not too repetitive, there are quite a few quests, and it's actually hard at times.
But I won't give away the ending: there isn't one. Kill the final boss, and there's nothing. No story. No crappy RPG side-scrolling animation with text. It's just over. Crappy credits, then no big payout whatsoever. It takes quite a while to get to the end of the game, so it'd be nice if you'd put that last bit of effort in and actually end your game.
Like I said, good work, crappy, crappy ending.

not bad but kind of repetitive

not a bad game overall, a little on the repetitive side and little option to customise your charicter but otherwise fine, the biggest let down was the anti climatic final battle the wizard never scored more than 1hp when he hit me (which was rare) while I was striking for an average of 70hp. and this was with a rather average charicter

I like the game, it's pretty fun to play. I don't like how you get the weaker monsters when you're going back to the original town though. I put all of my points in to attack, and some into dexterity, so i'm pretty much one hitting everything in my way, and if I can't one hit it, it's 2-3 hits MAX. I like it, I do 70 damage per hit, and i'm not even level 15. Try it, guys. It's a pretty good strategy. You may want to put some into vitality, also. I've died a few times by some monsters.
