Camera

The auto-adjusting camera made this a horrible experience.

Loved it

I actually played this game 2 days ago and thought it was so awesome that it didn't need a review, now that my head has cooled down I would like to point a couple of desing flaws:
1) The "Release" button is way too big and shiny, it makes you want to press it and before you know you might actually get rid of your pokemon...
Luckily there is a warning (an "are you sure?" message)

2) The moment my first pokemon started evolving, I was so exited that as soon as a button appeared in my screen I pressed it. Guess what? It was a "stop evolution" button, just like in the original game, you can accidentally stop your evolution (no warning message here). Also, if the pokemon evolves on the next level, it will not learn the ability that it would have gained if it had evolved normally.
Hope to see more of this. Good job.

Awesomeness

Great, but easy to become overpowered due to the lack of more levels. By having a Tackle Squirtle, 2 Gust Pidgeys, 2 Confusion Butterfrees, and a Bite Rattata, I was unstoppable. We need more stages! And a Pikachu that's easier to catch ;)

Fun but then got annoying - n-

I love pokemon been playing sense R/B/Y anywho the part with the gym leader not being able to use your starter bothered me alot. I chose charmander so I have a disadvantage anyways it should be where squirty should be unable to go in it or bulby as they have advantages. Something else that annoyed me is the pikachu part and not being able to catch some pokemon -_-;;

Good game though.
