Good

This is a very good game. Even though you have a bunch of people who apparently don't pay any attention to the game giving you bad scores. As I read some of the reviews only a few people gave you a bad score for a reasonable problem. Most of the people seemed to give you a bad score though because they are terrible. The guy who was complaining about not getting his starter back after he either lost or won the pewter gym apparently doesn't know how to look in the box. And to the guy who said that the starter should be usable in the pewter gym that would make it way too easy. Just get a butterfree. I just wish that some of these people would learn to use their brains before giving a game a bad review. Mister-Canada and a few others are excluded in this because they gave you a reasonable score based on a decent amount of issues.

fun but challenging game

how else can you beat mt moon without a wartortle? i started with a charmander and using the pokemon DClink said worked, but without squirtle its almost impossible. anyone have any ideas? other than that the game is pretty epic good job olmate

This is a creative and fun game

I enjoyed every bit of it until Mt. Moon, which is absolutely unreasonable. I understand 'making it harder' but making it so I need a specific set of Pokemon and a lot of luck just to survive with hopefully one Geodude left in Mt. Moon is just crazy. All my Pokemon are Lvl. 20 and useless at defeating stronger enemies in VF2 and Mt. Moon. My starter is Charmander, which is the 'wrong' option if I want to defeat Lvl. 8 apparently.

The level cap has definitely stunted my enthusiasm to continue trying until it's raised, since the difficulty is so out of scale for Mt. Moon that I haven't been able to defeat it since getting to it last night.

Good game, but if all the future levels are going to be like Mt. Moon... I'm afraid I'm going to have to avoid this game for the sake of my patience.

Also, like the others said, the shop prices are excessive but if you play VF2 like 100 times, you'll have enough. By that time all your Pokemon will be around Level 20, so you'll probably be just restart and then switch back and forth from another window to write an essay or something since input into the game from you is hardly required at this point. Just your time.

Feeling contradicted

I am slightly disappointed because i could have sworn that i read about there being a level cap this week as a notice last week, but i dont really give a shit about that. I fucking love this game. I love tower defense, i love pokemon, and overall, the nostalgia is mind-numbing. I hope to see more in the future, because this already great game still has potential!
