this is my final project for art foundation

and the submission that i submitted an animatic for

its changed abit but i hope you enjoy and i hope that you understand it :)

OKAY: i'm gonna clear two things up i am a leather wearing meat eating person and the message of the video isnt to not harm animals

the message is that we dont usually think of where our stuff comes from. we dont see bacon and think of pigs, we dont see clothes and think of where the fibres come from. even if we know where everything comes from we dont have that in our minds. and the toaster bit is because my friend found a mouse in his toaster once, so i always think of mice when i use mine...(his house id disgusting srsly)

honestly?

I'm not sure of your message. Are you saying that fleecing sheep, is bad? It doesn't kill them, and as far as I know, it doesn't hurt them either. Also I don't have to kill a chicken for an egg, so I missed the connection with ripping its head off. I really didn't grasp the mouse/toaster either. It looks really good, I like the style, and it goes well with the sound, but I'm not sure what your saying with this, you see connections that I don't.

You did put work into this...

At the same time, story wise, you want to be consistent if you're trying to illustrate where most of the things we use in daily life comes from. The cow gives you leather for the shoes, the sheep give clothing, the chicken gives you an egg, and the pig gives you bacon... and the mouse gives you a toaster?

Sorry, but when you're doing this kind of animation, the actual substance (storyline) of the animation makes a huge difference. Be consistent in your characters and plot line please. That alone made you lose quite a lot of stars in what should have been a very well thought out piece. It's consistency in plot development that you need to work on. I've been yelled at many times for inconsistencies in that kind of thing in my writing works.

Apart from the mouse gives you a toaster part, (mice certainly don't give you bread, either) it's definitely an animation that I'm sure you worked very hard on in order to make it come to fruition. Keep up the practice.

Wonderful

Just needs an ending screen for the replay button, the auto-replay isn't exactly the best part. Don't get me wrong, it's lovely, just needs a proper ending. (It feels like the ending is actually it starting over again)
