...Meh.
The game works, and there aren't any bugs, but it's still bland and monotonous. I wouldn't play this for more then 5 minutes.

Has potential
This game doesn't really play much like Mortal Kombat. In terms of pure gameplay, it's more like Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo in turbo mode. It's entirely too fast, and nobody knows what the buttons do so they just mash and sometimes cool stuff happens. I found that the best way to make the computer dead is to get them into a corner, hit down and keep hitting light attack. There's really nothing they can do but block, and they won't do that forever. Skeleton had too much range for that, if I enjoyed the game more I'd go back and see if I could make Skeleton invincible using that trick.
The green demon has this strange pelvic thrust thing going in his idle animation, and the zombie looks like he's masturbating the leg he carries. Without those two things, I wouldn't really mind the graphics. The more important thing is the gameplay anyhow, and with some time and polish it could be great. But if I wanted to nitpick, I'd say the sliding doors also were too small for the display. It looks a lot like the game was designed 100-200 pixels skinnier than the movie actually is.
One final annoyance was that the whole game is keyboard-controlled, except for the "fight" button that needs to be clicked in between rounds. I really didn't like taking my hands off the keyboard after I had sort of gotten into 'the zone' fighting. I'm not sure why there's a pause there anyway, if you don't have a "between fights" status screen, I'd just dump the players into the "Ready... fight!" sequence. Though... I wouldn't mind a status screen in between fights (not rounds), with some stats on max combo length, etc, as long as I could dismiss it with one of the attack keys.
My final suggestion is, get some music! I loves me a good video game music, and it can make a big difference in the quality of a game.
