The sequel to my game from 2005, with all new graphics, engine and other improvements. Infect red bloodcells, fight against the immune system, do the evolution and go pandemic once more!

Thanks to everyone who left some constructive criticism.
A stern look of dissaproval at the reviewers that did nothing but whine.

Either way, here's the update!

Changelog v.1.2:
-) Fixed control issue where you would accidentally pick up the wrong germ
-) Germs drifting towards the edge slow down to enable easier herding
-) Fixed NaN bug
-) Fixed "Black Death" Achievement (if you already fell victim to this bug, just hit "Continue Game" and start playing, this should unlock the achievement and medal)
-) Added additional hints regarding the fact that you can save dying germs by quickly dragging them onto the next red bloodcell
-) Made the bigger white bloodcells slightly easier to kill
-) Fixed the wording of the campaign ending screen, of course they are parasitic germs and NOT virii (although they used to be virii in the first game)
-) That's it for now, I would start feeling dirty if I'd please everyone. (also the core issues should be addressed, thus making the overall experience a more pleasant one)

Laggy when there are a lot of objects on screen, but that's probably my computer's fault.
Stage music repetitive and poorly looped at times.
Story was lacking. It's nice to see a cutscene where your germ has spread world wide but there's no indicating buildup. It happens suddenly.

More variety, especially the fever stage.
Better art.
No short time limits. Thank you.
Less micromanagement. Auto infect, heck yeah!

Special abilities. E.g. before lysis, cast "Lysis Explosion" that creates splash damage after the blood cell dies. Another e.g. "Area Select" where you can create a field to move multiple germs sort of like in an rts game. Each ability costs energy. Hotkeys to select ability.

Classes like fungal, prion, cancer, etc. Each class have their advantages and gameplay.

Rival mode. Compete with others online in the same body. There's also the opportunity to have the immune system controlled by another player online.

Co-op mode.
Time attack mode.
Etc modes.

Infect other cells besides blood?

New enemies. Antibodies can be included, they clump together germs to make it easier for the white blood cell to eat more simultaneously. Also, nanobots?

New hosts. Make use of an anatomical map showing progress of the current host, whether human or not. Travel outside on a carrier or (if capable) in the water/air alone.

Why does the blood continuously flow? Doesn't it only flow when the heart beats?

lol jk I already know you receive endless remarks about the biological inaccuracies. It really isn't a big deal to me but it would be nice if we could learn from the game.
