I first heard this song in a helicopter over Vietnam. It was a Friday.
update: Thanks for frontpage NG! Also, that is not Black in the corner, I wish no violence to come to her or anyone related with this.
It was hot.
Burning, that mercifully breezy March day in West Texas. I had just gotten back from nam and was meeting up with my wife in our small tejano town's plaza. The moment I saw her I heard a young immigrant singing this song in a heavy mexican accent. We cried and made love for endless hours. It was a Friday. So was my son's birthday. And the day my brother was shot down in nam. And the day I proposed to my wife. And the day it was Friday. And I got down. Partyin. Partyin. Yes. Your legacy will forever be remembered Bob, even though you definetly ripped most of this song from Mozart's 4th symphony.
Never heard that one, pretty good song i must say as simple as dylan, you should have put more things in the video or i don't know perhaps a zombie hooker??? haha
Definately not Bob Dylan.
That singing is waaaaay to good to be Dylan.
....so no one sees the dead hooker next to him?
ev'rybodies lookin' forw'rd to the week'nd...
You know, I still think the lyrics of Friday make it suck regardless. But the Bob Dylan style makes it bearable, borderline well-written. But then that's not your fault. therefore you are awesome in making this, regardless.
