Guide Jerry through the fast-paced, dangerous factory where he works as he goes on the hunt for his kidnapped girlfriend! Collect coins to open the door to the next level, but be fast! Time is ticking and Jerry must make his way all the way through before it's too late!

A throwback to the 80's, Jerry's Jammin Journey was designed to look, sound, and play like an old school arcade game. The engine and animation is designed around the rules and guidelines of chipset games using 1986 tech. A lot of time and effort went into the making of this and we came to realize just how difficult recreating 8-bit sprites and gameplay could be. The game is difficult, but its definitely beatable, and its worth the effort to see it through all the way to the end!

We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!

Good stuff

very nostalgic, agree with most that has been said decent music, like mario but still original and the J for jump is confusing even now ;)

Great for what it is

Feels just like an old school arcade platformer. I am serprised at the amount of detail in the actions actually. Nicely done.

a little confusing at start

took me while to work out which key "j" i had to press before i could do aanything, was more than very close to just going somewhere else ! perhaps i'm the average read nothing, do something smuck !)
once actually playing, gameplay felt nice - like chuckie egg in the olden days :)

Quite fun

I thought it was really enjoyable. The style came off well, it's obvious a good deal of effort was put into this.

The only thing is, I would agree with Andre on the ladder stuff. The climbing animation looks a little funny and I think the sideways movement on the ladder should be restricted, though it has some use.

Either way, it was well done. Good job!

Niice.

I really like this game. My favorite part is the music you use during the game.

Gameplay: It's pretty much like Super Mario, but I wouldn't say you copied it by any means. It has a pretty good concept, I like how it's a plumber in a sewer with rats.

I didn't like the ladder part of the game because it really didn't look that good. You should make it so you can't go left/right on the ladder just straight up and down.

You should make it more obvious on the title screen how to actually play the game. Not everyone would think "J" is Jump. The common jump button is Space Bar. Users shouldn't have to rely on the description to play a game.

Duly noted and changed the jump button. Thanks for the feedback!

As for the ladders, later stages require the ability to go left/right. If you get that far, you'll see what I mean ;)
