mmmm could be better

u should be able to buy ur weapons at the begining of a game with ur money.
u get free money at begining so u still get somiething

ur xp counts as money 2.
but also level up
levels unlocks u better weapons and noob weps get better prices.

u should have hp
u get points for damage but also for destructing a tank.

thats arround how it should look.

but its still fun tkes time to get used to it

Great game

It's great to see a multiplayer game with players actually on it! Also the idea to get the most points as opposed to who can kill who first is an interesting one. Well done!

Broken PvP, but nice concept

I was really close to liking this game. The graphics are nice, there's a thumping musical beat, and the variety of maps certainly keeps things interesting. I try out the weapons at the firing range- neat, we have everything from grenade to spread shots to rolling explosives. Perfect for every situation, right? I'm excited as a move into the lobby. I can't wait to become an expert tank marksman, driving up hilltops and smashing enemy weapons with various heavy artillery shots.

Then I find out that I have to use random weapons.

EVERY SINGLE MATCH I have the worst weapon selection imaginable. It's always that underpowered 20 damage contact shot or purple shot that bounces and can't hit the broadside of a barn. And my opponents? Always air drops, or flower bombs, or some gigantic explosion that takes up a quarter of the screen. I understand the need for challenge and variety, but this is a PvP game- we're supposed to be on equal footing! Would it be too much to ask to let us choose our loadouts beforehand?

"Lack of balance" seems to be a pretty reoccurring theme throughout ShellShock. Sure, you can eventually get better weapons by spending hundreds of hours grinding up your EXP, but the only surefire way to get an advantage in battle is to spend real money on this overpriced Tank Coin scheme. You want every weapon in the game? Be prepared to spend over $30 on the game, including "Lifetime" access. There's no guarantee that buying a Deluxe version will count on any other websites ShellShock is hosted on, so who knows if your subscription will mean anything if either Newgrounds or the author decide to stop hosting the game. I understand that the author wants to make money somehow, but this seems like a huge amount of time and money on our part just to make a flash game feel remotely enjoyable to play.

Other than that, it's a decent multiplayer experience.

Takes getting used to

I have played games like this before but never on this website. Or at least not ones on this website that are so authentic to what I played before! While it takes me awhile to get used to using games like this, it's still worth playing because of just how fun it is. I definitley had some problems as I kept getting blasted by the other guy. You really have to learn to get right to your enemy and get the right weapon! This could have used some more detail.

It does have the right idea of using the setting of a desert (at first, at least). It makes sense because you would not have to worry about people getting killed. Well, if I thought about the moral implications of this game, I would never even play. I can still appreciate you for trying to hook people up like this, even though it's not my cup of tea. It's been awhile since I played a guy from you, kchamp.
