Edit [22/02/11] - we have fixed some balancing issues and updated a fair amount.
Edit [24/02/11] - added jump, some upgrading tweaks AND LOTS MORE
Edit [26/02/11] - added ng medals (they work, but they pop-out un aligned, will be fixed soon)
Edit [27/02/11] - fixed glitches resulting to better balancing, meaning its a lot easier to win

Our theme: Lions shooting evil bugs
Controls:
A and D to move
W to jump
Mouse to shoot
Spacebar to eat dead corpses and evolve
Objective:
Bugs are attacking your colony of eggs, you must defend it with your life, kill bugs and eat them to evolve and become and stronger, evolve all the way to become the strongest bug of them all and save your colony from those dastardly evil bugs! and stop the evil plot of the lion!

Very nice!
Lovely game, but...
Due to different keyboard layout, I pressed W where MY W is ... and I evolved. Huh?
you pressed z :P its a little erm well ill call it a glitch ;)

Stiff yet...
Stiff controls yet the need to evolve was to much, this made me finish the game, you could make an improved sequel with possible evolution trees that could work of 3 stats eg armor speed and attack, maybe the view could move out as you grow to allow a better view and bigger enemies. cor now that would be a good game :)
my thoughts on it now though is just that the eating was stiff and the speed was ill.
too true, those things are definitely an issue....and the evolution tree is genius but a sequel is not bright atm, contact kembry our artist (pm) and try and convince him ;)

Nice game, man!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems the bugs we play as annoyed the lion, so he convinced (with a gun) the other bugs to attack us (?). Kudos on a good game, I fought a huge bug that took 10 shots to kill, so I'm assuming that's the last boss, but it was pretty anticlimatic. Very very good concept though.Could you add a minimap to see where the waves are coming from?
Other than that, very good. 9/10 4/5
the lion hates bugs, so he goes to some other hives bugs to go destroy another one, and does this by threatening with a gun...its quite strange but we had to have a lion shooting bugs somewhere...stupid theme really....
a mini map or an alert system would be awesome! definitely a cool feature in my opinion, but i dont know if we'll ever be doing a sequel....

What's with all these fucking bugs?!?
cool game with a nice concept. it was a really fun game. the only problem I have with it is whenever the big bug comes and starts to eat on the eggs, the game freezes. all the game does at this point is show a close up of the egg pile and thats it. I can't submit my score or anything. I'm forsed to restart the game at this point. but it is a very well done game for only being done in 72 hours. please fix this bug. but other then that, cheers on a great game XD
