So yeah, maybe wathing this at midnight on my porch while it's snowing wasn't such a good idea... Anyway AWESOME flash, the knocking around the shack scared the poop out of me. *SPOILER ALERT* My one complaint was the ending, you shouldn't have added the furries, it would have been so cooler without them :( Imo, he should have starved to death or committed suicide after the dog died. Anywho, great flash.

I'm not a fan of the joke, simply because I think it was a lot of wasted opportunity, but what you've created is pretty genuinely terrifying. The first so many knocks at the door were singularly intense and as the situation grows more desperate you did a remarkable job of establishing the isolation of the fisherman. It was perfectly sparse in set up, about exactly as much as it needed to be, and you played the dog with no wasted moments. Considering it ends up being a joke, I wonder if you overstretched some of the shots on purpose? Either way, good work.

moral of the story is, never go into a fucking shack in the first place! this has all of the horror elements into play. it's classic hotdiggedydemon!
