At last, I present to you the final, full version of my game, "Street Fighter Legend of Ansatsuken".
Basically, it's a rpg game based on the story of Street Fighter alpha, which revolves around Ryu and Ken's youth.
That's right, in this game you'll play as both Ryu and Ken, the most popular heroes of Capcom's well known Street Figter saga.
The gameplay came out as a mix between Legend of Legaia and the SF fighting games.

For those who don't know, the first time I submitted this game in three parts, because its size was too big to fit in one single submission.

But, thanks to Tom Fulp, I can now submit the whole game, so that you can play it from the beginning to the end. That's right, the end.
Obviously, the final filesize is pretty big, so please have patience while it loads.

By the way, I removed part 2 from Newgrounds. Part 1, instead, is still online (only because it seems I can't remove it) but I renamed it "DEMO version".

I will mention one last thing: if you defeat Akuma, you get to fight the last, secret match and if you win, you can watch the secret ending.
Good luck with that fight, though, as Akuma is one pretty strong badass.

What else is there to say? Please play my game and review, I hope you'll like it! ^_^

Don't worry, and thank you very much for your review!

By the wa, I put a VERY serious effort into it - I mean, I didn't have to give up on my social life, but it was a long job nonetheless! ^_^

Perfect!

It's a masterpiece on a very popular fighting game( which I played in my childhood and loved) that recreated the story perfectly. This changed my view on ryu and ken forever. Thank you so much!

Muja responds:

Wow! thank you! ^_^
As I said before, the story is heavily inspired on the facts that Capcom reckoned as canon. Still, I'm very glad you liked it 'cause I put a lot of mine into it, too. ^_^

Couple bugs...

I haven't finished it yet, but I've run into a couple problems. One was that my save file didn't transfer, which is a major bummer cuz I beat Sagat and Vega on hard on those and it just sucks. Secondly, there's a few bugs when it comes to fighting. The Shoryuken on Ryu misses on the second hit sometimes, and when fighting E. Honda on hard, I went to finish him off with a Tatsumaki, but the last hit missed for no reason (his guard was totally broke), and I lost the match as a result.

Muja responds:

About the first bug there's nothing I can do - it's not like I didn't want to let you load your data from the previous two parts, it's just that that saving system was meant to be for a game split in two parts...
But, since I made the complete game and not just the third part, I made some changes to the game itself and so I couldn't let you load your data from an older version of it.

The second bug has probably something to do with the timing of my actionscript on the actual timeline... I know there's something that's causing Honda's malfunctioning, but I just can't undertsand what it is! I'll look more into it.

Thank you for your review!

Good game

It would be a fairly good game but for some reason the arrows when i'm being attacked don't show up...

Muja responds:

The arrows ain't supposed to show up when you're defending, but only when attacking.

When you defend, you have to GUESS where your opponent's going to attack you by watching closely his attacking stance.
It's all in the tutorial.

But I'm glad you liked my game! ^_^
