At last, I present to you the final, full version of my game, "Street Fighter Legend of Ansatsuken".
Basically, it's a rpg game based on the story of Street Fighter alpha, which revolves around Ryu and Ken's youth.
That's right, in this game you'll play as both Ryu and Ken, the most popular heroes of Capcom's well known Street Figter saga.
The gameplay came out as a mix between Legend of Legaia and the SF fighting games.

For those who don't know, the first time I submitted this game in three parts, because its size was too big to fit in one single submission.

But, thanks to Tom Fulp, I can now submit the whole game, so that you can play it from the beginning to the end. That's right, the end.
Obviously, the final filesize is pretty big, so please have patience while it loads.

By the way, I removed part 2 from Newgrounds. Part 1, instead, is still online (only because it seems I can't remove it) but I renamed it "DEMO version".

I will mention one last thing: if you defeat Akuma, you get to fight the last, secret match and if you win, you can watch the secret ending.
Good luck with that fight, though, as Akuma is one pretty strong badass.

What else is there to say? Please play my game and review, I hope you'll like it! ^_^

This game brings me memories of Street Fighter played on my childhood days. Now the review:

Pros: Kudos:

Challenging Good intent of making a fighting game like RPG Style.

Cons:

1.The number of Attacks you do vs the Number of attacks my enemy can perform:

Despite the level you do few attacks (up to 3) mostly 2 attacks . The enemy can do more than 5 attack chain. You must feel in equity in fight plan .

2. The story line needed a 2 situational scenarios for winning and one for loosing . I think this is cometic but I noticed for Ryu against Sagat the scenario for loosing despite you defeat Sagat or not Ryu would use his dark powers to defeat him .

3 . The problem with defending / guarding from attacks:

The problem here : The enemy special attacks can drain your guard meter more drastically with their special moves and potent kicks . The fact you need to predict their movements with the arrow keys can be tricky . The game could have been more understood if you in the prologue or practice mode could make the arrows an option to tell the user corresponding arrows to press to reduce or evade damage from enemy .

Other stuff:

Why dont add cheat codes to start fighting with akuma and special characters in the next saga.

Conclusion:

If you love Street Fighter like me , newgrounder . Play This Game! You will love this submission.

Thanks for creating this Game Muja . I hope to see a Saga of this awesome game in the future.

Muja responds:

Wow, thanks for your review!
I'll answer you right away!

1) The number of attacks that enemies can perform depends on the difficulty level. In my game like in many others, when you choose the higher difficulty the COM tends to cheat.
But since it seems you didn't like it, I'll think about adjusting this in my next game.

2) Yeah, what you say here is right. I kept the same scenario because that's how I intended the plot to evolve anyway. But I could have changed some details, to make the two endings differ... Good advice.

3) I reckon that the fighting system turned out to be much more difficult than in my plans, I've surely learned the lesson. My next battle system will be more player friendly.

Other stuff: my intention for the second game of this saga was to make Akuma playable almost as much as Ryu and Ken... But, to tell you the truth, I'm working on another game right now.
After a time of indecision, during which I started to work on a Mario & Luigi Rpg, then on a One Piece rpg... I finally settled for an original rpg based on ancient Japan.
So, what I mean is: I can't promise I'll make a sequel of Street Fighter LoA in the near future.

I'm so glad for your review, I hope you'll come to play my next game. ^_^

I have to say I played this the last year, well now its complete there are so many bugs on it...
The special arts that require more than 3 bars to do it are doing 6 damage (not 12)

Muja responds:

"So many" bugs on it? You named one. What are the others?
