Your goal is to become the Pokemon master! Can you catch all the Pokemon located in this area, known as Baseek Land? Train your Lucario to become the strongest it can be! However, as a major quest, can you defeat and capture the rare Absol? Train in the grass, fight trainers, evolve your Pokemon, and defeat the leader of the Forest, Pokemon Catcher Smith. Show him who's the boss and be awarded in the end. Good luck!
Controls:
Arrow Keys -- Movement
Space bar -- Action Key
Enter/ Return -- Open/ Exit Menu
Mouse Click -- Used to click on buttons
A total of 13 Pokemon have been coded into the game. Here are some of the major features that were pretty big projects and deserve mentioning (in my eyes):
- Evolutions
- Workable PC
- PP System + Learn abilities as you level up
- Natures + EVs
- *Mini Game (Pokemon Hop!)
- *Interactive Battle Variant Pokemon (IBVP)
* = Original features that are not found in the Pokemon games
***I would like to thank my friend from deviantart, digibody, for the main character's sprite. He has some incredible stuff, check him out!
Q&A:
Q: How do I fully heal/ revive my Pokemon?
A: From the area that you start at, walk down to the "town" and talk to the man in front of the house. Answer "Yes" when he asks if you want your Pokemon to be healed.
Q: Why do I have 3 Pokeballs every time I start a battle?
A: You cannot buy them yet. If they didn't go back to 3 every time, you would quickly run out. This is temporary.
Q: How do I play the mini game, "Pokemon Hop!"?
A: Enter the house with the red roof. The other building cannot be entered.
Q: Something weird happened. Is this a glitch?
A: Tell me what happened and I'll let you know whether it is or not. If it is, I'll try to fix it.
Q: What are IBVPs?
A: I have added a new feature to my game where wild Pokemon can jump into the battle at any random time. They have higher than average stats and are aggressive. These rare breeds of Pokemon will seek you out when they want to battle. By clicking on this Pokemon that jumps out at you, it will end the battle you are currently having and it will switch the Pokemon you are battling with the Pokemon you clicked on. An IBVP will not hop out during every battle. But there is a 2% chance for an IBVP to show up right now. Good luck finding it, and catching it!
I've learned so much by working on this. If help is needed or if there are any questions regarding what Pokemon evolve, at what level they evolve, what level they learn new attacks, what attacks they learn, etc, just ask and I'll gladly reply! Hope you enjoy! :)
For now, I think I'm done with this game. Some things were left unfinished, but oh well. I had a lot of fun working on it, but overall, it was mainly a test. I've become such a better coder since I started this project. Hopefully my newest project, Pokemon Slider, will show it! If anybody truly wants me to add a Pokemon to this game for any reason, just ask and I'll add it just for you! :) That might be the only thing I add to this game from now on. Feedback would be appreciated.

its about time someone made a pokemon game like
this but in the beginning u should get more pokeballs atleast 50
Thank you for playing my game. In the future, I will create a much better version of a Pokemon Flash game. I'm glad you enjoyed this version! Look forward to my next submissions being much better than this!

Hmmmm
If I could sum this up in a single word it would be... underwhelming. The overworld music just doesn't fit with the game, the overworld controls feel stiff, and the trainer looks weird. Things do shape up when you get to a battle, though, except for the grass looking absolutely dreadful. Otherwise, it's decent fun, the mechanics are sound, the sprites look as good as they did in the 3rd generation, and the battle theme is still there. It wasn't too bad. Keep trying, and you'll get gold!
Thank you very much! Expect future submissions from me to be much better!

So when I exit the game...
It doesn't save my data? I have to literally keep this exact screen up (no refresh) and play the entire game?? no thanks... i liked this game too, its a shame...
The saving AND loading feature works. This isn't a factor on my part. I would have stated that in my description if it didn't work. Are you actually saving your data? Press Enter then click Save Game. If you are doing that, try this:
Right Click > Settings > Click the third tab at the bottom that looks like a folder with an arrow pointing into it
Once you're there, move the slider to the right until the number on the right says 100 KB at least.
Now try saving and loading your game. The only time something like this has happened during testing was because the saved file on the tester's laptop was automatically being deleted every time the laptop would be turned off. I cannot explain this, but it does not have to do with the game. It had something to do with the computer. Good luck trying to get the saving and loading to work, thank you for playing.

What just happend??
Here my story:
I enter the first patch of grass: a battle
nothing there but 2 pokeballs shown
using aurasphere defeated a pidget
trainer sends absol
instant kill
i'd say something went horribly wrong
aside from that great work keep it up
Whoa.. If you could find out how to make that happen again, let me know and I will try to fix it. Thank you for taking the time to play and write a review!! Hopefully that glitch doesn't occur for others.
