I wrote this game while travelling in Europe and Central America, and created everything but the music myself. It's not your usual point and shoot zombie game; Rebuild is a thoughtful, wordy game that takes real strategy to win. You need to balance acquiring food, expanding your base, killing zombies and keeping your people happy. Gamers should start on Hard difficulty and expect to lose their first game (it's more fun that way).

Okay, the community may or may not agree with me, yet I like this better than rebuild 2. In rebuild 2 it saves pretty much what you were doing before each turn. Meaning if I sent out all my guys to go find stuff and a zombie attack happen and i lost a farm and some of my people, I could just quit the game and go back to my previous action and reverse it. Unlike here, I cannot do that. Everything is a surprise in rebuild 1. I find rebuild 2 more easy than rebuild 1. I hope you do make rebuild 3( If you ever do) a lot like rebuild 1 yet more real like as in" My survivor is a former hardcore runner, so he/she can be back in 1 turn while being half way across a massive city" while on the other hand" this survivors is fat and if I sent him across the city, it may take him two days or so to get back" Just stuff like this. pretty much the distance, weather, fitness, personality, just stuff like that would be nice perks into rebuild 3 in my opinion. I also notice that animals such as dogs were somewhat useless in rebuild 2, maybe in rebuild 3 you could perhaps give a perk to finding an animal such as increased happiness and decrease happiness if the animal died or just run off or lost. It would be nice to have that old school search for the lost survivors, personally item, distressed survivors, and animals as well. Hmm, more conflicts and life choices would be nice in the rebuild series as well and perhaps adding families into the game story as well? I am not sure if any zombie fans would agree on his, yet I thought I would give a long suggestion.

Anyways, I love the rebuild series and I hope a rebuild 3 is out soon unlike some series and flash movies on Newgrounds that were amazing, yet only one video or game was made of the series.

Goods: This game is the perfect example of "Simply Addicting". With no exaggeration, I played this game for almost 3 hours. The simple gameplay combined with a great idea is a hit!
Bads: Only thing here is, after hours of playing and after conquering almost all the places, it suddenly gets boring. Not much action.

Conclusion: Strategic but no Action
