Animations blended together seamlessly, I was completely immersed in the story

This is mind boggling...

This actually made me laugh. It was really cheesy...... I didn't even know what was going on.

There are many things wrong here but I will first start with a couple good.

You did show that you can import movie clips and sprites to some extent into your flash and you seem to have a good start onto learning flash.

Now onto things I didn't like, but I'll add some helpful suggestions.

I'd like to start with the imported sprites of game characters. Though you did import them you still forgot to actually alpha mask them to five them a full transparency for them. While this can work for some styles of movies it totally clashes with everything you have here.

Next would be the spelling. It is important when using any kind of text that you spell correctly. Unless you intentionally miss spelling for effect, in witch case then you should add much more mistakes so people don't get the wrong idea from your movie.

Others have commented on the audio quality and I have to agree with them. With so many tools at your touch there is not much that has not been already. Better audio next time. Music and audio really helps movies of any kind. Example, watch your favorite movie of all time, but mute the sound and turn on subtitles. It just dose not have the same feel as if you where watching it. Music drives a feeling and story.

At the part where you are doing a play on Pokemon©, this was a good idea, but try to keep it in the style that it was intended for. This one little clip is a clash between both the running style of the rest of the movie as well as even the game concept of Pokemon©. Doing a plan on a game or other pop culture is a great way to make a point, but try to be consistent with it as you will get a lot more of what we call the 'WOW' factor.

Last thing was the ending. Used the same sprites from though out the movie, witch already used too much, could be fine here, but the real problem I had as well as many others, is that is just loops back to the start of the movie. Having a replay or return to start button dose wonders and is simple flash frame control. The other thing about the ending is there is no copy right information about the sources you used or even credit to your self. If you do some work of any kind, at least put your name on it. It's like if the Mona Lisa was done by an unknown artist. Even if you think and others think it's not worth it. Trust me, it's always worth it.

That concludes my review. Hope to see you next project and your advancement in flash.

the only semi-good part was the hearts in the beginning
