Pretty great game, but...

there are just a few issues. It's buggy, which doesn't really detract from how much fun it was but it was aggravating at a few points. Also, you should be able to restart your game on a new difficulty without finishing the current one. Next, Elite mode was far harder than Veteran mode. I understand that that's the hard mode and it's supposed to be a challenge but that doesn't mean you should make it as difficult as possible and leave a huge gap in difficulty between hard and medium. Elite mode wasn't a challenge, it was just frustrating. The ability to duck behind cover more often would also be nice as sometimes every enemy that spawned will come out at once and shoot you to death. Such a death has nothing to do with skill, it's just bad luck, and in Elite mode bad luck means restarting the mission. Lastly, if nothing else, SKIP BUTTON! No one wants to hear the mission explanation every. single. time. they. die.
Despite these complaints, I had a lot of fun playing this game and I hope you make more good games in the future.

FTW

Game is pretty solid. Very fun and well put together. I like the unlocks and that when you reload from a check point baddies aren't always in the same rooms or even the same place. I would love to see more content (levels, gear and maybe weapons) for this game, and definitely medals. I'm sure if there was more to this game, people could spend many hours blasting through militia men! That aside, this is one of the best browser games I've played in a long time.

Very well done...mostly

Typically, I despise on-rails shooters because I like moving around and figuring out different paths, but this game managed to appeal to me, anyway.
The aiming system was ... odd. I felt like I missed a lot of shots I shouldn't have, and the two-reticle system sort of ruined my fun a few times. A decent selection of unlockable weapons kept me playing the first day, and brought me back to it a second day. I probably won't play through a third time, but it's still worth checking out.
Some color would have been nice, black on gray on lighter gray isn't appealing. I'm not saying it has to be a masterpiece, just add some color here and there. In addition to the blood, anyway.
Like the part where you were under fire from a guy on a mounted machine gun, you should be able to peek out/hide under cover at each stop on the rails. Sometimes there were just too many bad guys, and they open fire too fast, and do too much damage.
Playing on easy, you unlock several guns, depending on how many emblems you earn. When you beat it, you get another new gun. Of course, now I want to bump up the difficulty and play again with my new guns!
But, I can't. I have to erase my file and start ALL THE WAY OVER with default weapons. When I unlock a weapon at the end, I expect to be able to play through the next difficulty setting with it. The game is harder, so I get more, better guns, seems fair to me.
Another thing that bothered me was that it always switched back to my primary weapon when I hit checkpoints. I mean, not a lot of people intend on playing with only the pistol, but it was a little annoying when I was trying to unlock the pistol emblem.
Aside from all that, I really did like this game, and I wouldn't complain if I heard about a sequel.
