Bubble Tanks 1 was designed around some simple concepts: make a game that 1) allowed you to grow, 2) explore and constantly experience new things, and 3) choose your difficulty as you play by deciding how far out you want to go. Bubble Tanks 3 is the completion of that vision- New tanks will stream into your game seamlessly in the background creating a new experience and adventure each and every game.

I can't begin to tell you how much blood and sweat went into this game, but I can sum it up best with a story about our team member Jason. This past Sunday Jason was driving 2 hours from his girlfriend's place to come in to work. Michigan is very cold, and his truck hit a patch of ice and he rolled the truck over. He was upside down for 10 minutes until the police and medics could cut him out of his truck. He was alright, no scratches or bruises somehow, so when the medic asked him where to drop him off, instead of the hospital he said "Hero Interactive so I can work on Bubble Tanks!" I tell you this for two reasons: 1) God saved Jason so he could bring you this game. 2) That's how hard we ALL worked on it.

We hope you all enjoy it!

no refunds?
if you ended up with the tank with bouncy bullets at least if you fire in one direction for a while it makes a star

HeroInteractive responds:

No refunds? I'm not sure what you mean. You can simply edit your tank whenever you are in an empty bubblefield.

awsome, but...

my computer likes to lag it. maybe its my hextuplet beam cannons or the large number of enemies. great game, just wish the bubbles were bigger and maybe that there was a story mode with a plot, but despite these problems/possible improvements, this game is still a ten. yay bubble tanks.... is there a multiplayer mode yet? i forgot to look to see if there was one.

HeroInteractive responds:

It's the hextuplet of beam cannons. Still, i'm glad you enjoy the game! No multiplayer yet, it would be cool but we don't know how to go about it.

great fun but

as soon as you get a big enough tank, or even with a small tank when theres loads of enemies, it gets really laggy and slow. really irritating as now i can't physically upgrade my tank any further or i wont be able to play the game -.-

HeroInteractive responds:

Avoiding certain items can help with the lag. The biggest culprit is the Beam Cannon but it was just too awesome for us to remove it. The ricochet gun is a good alternative. Using tanks with less complexity will help as well. Also, there are other options in the settings menu that can help speed up the game.

Just the same

I used to really love this series, but as it goes on, it's underlying problems just aren't adressed and it's just a rehash of the previous two. The two main problems I have are that big tank don't get anymore armor than small ones, and their weapons system aren't much better, making them useless since dodging becomes near impossible with their massive size. When I choose the heavy classes I should feel like a juggernaut, not a slow, oversized fighter. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to level up only to get knocked back down three seconds later when twenty shots land on my now massive girth. Another issue is that enemies can locate and fire on you from off screen, making return fire also frustrating. It doesn't help that your field of view is quite limited. I would suggest you either make the entire arena visible at all times or not allow enemies to fire if you can't see them to remedy this. The charm has simply worn away after several reales, and now either needs to polish up its rough spots or move in a new direction.

HeroInteractive responds:

Both of your points are false. Heavy tanks have 1) more armor (they only take 1/3 the amount of damage) and 2) HAVE A LOT MORE FIREPOWER. A tier 6 class 1 tank gets 13 Gun Points while a class 6 tank at tier 6 gets 25. Add to that the fact that high class tanks get more weapons and defensive parts such as the seeker flak cannons (destroy incoming seekers) and the forcefield (which blocks 100% of the first 100 incoming damage and makes you immune to jamming, ink, and sticky) and you have a lot more to work with.
