(1/27/11) We have now updated our control schemes. Press SPACE to Jump! Use LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys to move while in the air! We hope you enjoy this game and the new controls!

It's not easy being orange. Which is why our unnamed friend needs your help. He is on a mission. A mission to make a leap of faith! Utilize the LEFT / RIGHT keys to guide our friend to the Stars. Be careful not to overshoot that jump as it could be fatal! Also, try to complete the levels in the shortest time and with the fewest deaths possible.

We are looking for your feedback! Good or bad.

What scores are you getting? What changes would you make? What do you think of the game? What bugs have you found? Is it too difficult or not difficult enough? We appreciate your support and feedback greatly!

one of the better games ive seen today!

lately games have been quite poor on the portal....this was accually quite fun a interesting the concept was great, and it was easy to just pick up and play i knew exactly what to do right from the start, although the concept of removing blocks multiple colours was cool it should have been explored more...i dont know how it just feels that way.
i got up to level 4 i think and it just got overly difficult too fast, to me.

keep up the good work!

Epic428 responds:

I'm sorry the game got overly difficult for you in such a fast amount of time. Could you elaborate on what it was that caused this? If it was the jumping, please know that we are planning on implementing a new system for jumping that should ease things and make this game much more enjoyable.

We appreciate your feedback very much! Thanks!

great concept

I even like the fact that some blocks can't be seen and that you sometimes have to "study" the level at the lvl slection screen in order to know what to do. But the system of mashing the button in different intensities to calculate the jump is not very intuitive. I think we're more used to the lenght of the jump varying with the duration of the pressing of the button. Maybe you could add this as a control option?

Oh, and please add a few other songs, the loop got quite annoying after a while.

Epic428 responds:

I'm a tad confused on the fact that some blocks cannot be seen, if you could explain that in more detail I'd appreciate it, but I'm glad you enjoyed the game and I hope you will enjoy it even more once we have a new jumping scheme in motion!

Thanks again!

so and so

level design is nice. I did like that the game is quite self explanatory. Its difficulty is ok, but to me the controls are a little bit too delicate. how about a stats screen, like how many jumps, deaths - you could include medals then too, but that's probably just me.

Epic428 responds:

I like the idea of a stats screen, I think that could go a long way with this. It is something that might work out well if we were to do a sequel for this. At this point I think our top priority is trying to roll out a new jumping scheme so that the game is not so frustrating.

Thanks for the feedback though!

Not the best

The game looked promising from the title screen and first 2 levels, but the levels after that were difficult, and the fact that you couldn't hold down a button to do jumps right afterwords was annoying.

Epic428 responds:

In another forum it was mentioned that we should go with more of a metered jump. Would that suffice? Would it be better to make the jump go based off how long the key is held for? or would it be better to have the meter constantly moving up and down and then the player presses when they want to jump? Do you think that this would cause the game to move too slowly or affect the ability to play certain levels, like those with moving platforms?

If you don't think that this type of jumping would be suitable, then what do you think would work out best?

A touch hard

Heh... Yes. It was a cute game. I liked the little character. The idea of the game is fun and challenging... but I think it's the jumping that needs work. Too sensitive, hard to get the exact jump you need, especially when needing to jump over a one block gap. I played a few of the levels, got up to level 13, 9 being.. way too tedious, having to get all those little jumps perfect. Maybe I'm just not good at the game, but I just found it too hard.

Epic428 responds:

Hey thanks for the great feedback! We plan on working on two different jumping systems to find out which one is better, when we figure that out we will then post back the new version with it. Please keep checking back!
