Ah, after a month of work, four month hiatus, and half a month of finishing up, it's arrived. The first installment of ABYSMAL ADVENTURES.
In a contemporary world of fantasy filled with magic and mystical creatures, a wizard sparks one young man's journey into adulthood with a bang for his good deed. Come laugh and learn with Wojtek as he battles orcs, goblins, and his own helpless retardation!
***Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the song snippets and some select sound effects used in the animation. I'm not claiming that they are my own nor am I attempting to make a profit off of them. It's all in good fun and used to enhance the entertainment value of the overall project, so please understand and enjoy!
EDIT: damn, I always thought it'd be cool if this were frontpage'd, but never thought it'd happen because, well, yknow- it's not exactly "GOLD, JERRY!" So big thanks to voice actor Mick Lauer for bringing this to Tom's attention and giving it a spot to be enjoyed, even if it gets pulled down after a day or something.
EDIT2: Dude, I just watched it for the first time since I finished it and realized I misspelled RicePirate. Name changed! (But that's all that's new, the slow pace is still there unfortunately!)

Well Done
I thought the writing was superb, the characters felt very well developed and funny for something so short. The jokes, one-liners and comedic timing was perfect!
I thought the voice acting was good, the quality of the voice recordings as far as "sound quality/mastering" could have been a bit better.
Also, in the future try to avoid copyrighted songs, they can cause troubles down the road. Not to self-promote but Newgrounds has a great assortment of talented artists and songs in the audio portal ranging from Rock to Classical to Piano Bar.
Overall, very well done, I look forward to the next one

is it me.....
or does the main character remind anyone else of Fry from futurama. Eh, whatever, super hilarious and i cant wait for the next one. great job.

Excellent!
I really enjoyed this Animation, some nice new ideas and some great Animating. Voice acting and timing were perfect.
I especially liked the part where he thinks to himself (Don't read this if you haven't watched the Animation already) 'I realised that Subway Train should've killed me'. Very funny and great timing.
I do agree with some people, that at times it was slow, but I didn't mind. It set a good pace for the Animation.
