It's a relaxing and fun game when you have nothing else to do. I enjoyed it.

Near Perfect

This game is great but there's a few points that could be addressed, mostly just minor polishing. The first point is that there are two bugs that I encountered while playing. If you don't throw the plane far enough to break the second screen, the whole thing just freezes and sometimes when you complete a flight, you don't receive the money unless you restart the whole game. (I'm not sure if you receive the money if you complete the next flight, I always just restarted since I wanted the upgrades then) The interface was also slightly annoying in that I couldn't get to the main menu without refreshing, and neither could I pause in mid flight. Also, I don't know if it's a bug or not, but if you have extra meters between zones, it doesn't show the meters when you have the first transition, but when you reach the upgrade menu in the new zone, it shows that you have those meters on the progress bar. The controls could also be more closer. I thought it was really annoying having to use the mouse to activate rainbow stars, and thought it would have been better if perhaps the WASD area was used in tandem with the arrow keys and space.

Additionally, it would be cool if there was more cause to go up to space. It just seems like a really difficult area to get to, and coasting on the ground hunting for pinwheels just lasts longer. I can hit about 5000m without a sweat by flying low, and if I fly ultra conservatively I can get to 10000m. If I try to hit space, (I think it starts at an altitude of about 45-50m) I can barely hit 1000m because I use up so much fuel avoiding jet streams. Even then only about 50-150m of that is spent in space because the bulk of the distance is spent reaching space, then descending. Trying to be patient for gold stars and cranes to give a boost doesn't work because in my experience you just constantly get hammered by jet streams that you'll have to burn fuel to catch the boost fast enough that you may as well have spent nosing up to get above the stream. Maybe you can have an inordinately expensive upgrade that gives you an easier time getting up to space? Perhaps the plane gets dropped off by a shuttle as opposed to being thrown? :D

In any case, this is a most excellent game. Very addicting. If I was in your vicinity, I would give you a high five or a fist bump.
