this song always messed around with my head as a kid and this was no exception , very original story , ohh and of course being a fan of the clocks that made it for me nicely done
Thank you, I do typically feel if one is going to do a music video it's best to avoid just doing what the lyrics say

And I thought Insidious made that song scary...
It's the occasional Clock animation like this that convinces me to watch a ClockCrew animation before voting 0. There really are quality ones out there like this. Loved the art and animation, story was hilarious. The camera changes were even great. Only issue I had was the art in and out of the house looked a little out of place in quality with the other set pieces. Otherwise, a solid 9/10.
Ah, yes, there's an explanation for that.
The lower quality stuff is intentionally so as an homage to 2001-2 era CC movies. I intended to do the whole movie like that but I'm an artsy fartsy dickweed so you'll notice things get more and more complex leading up to the end because I tend to overthink it and overcomplicate it as I go on.
Yeah there's some bad stuff done and called CC work, but a lot of "low quality" stuff is really tongue-in-cheek, don't be so quick to judge it, it's more than likely just not clear what it's referring to a lot of the time.

CC Uses Its Power for Good
Art: 8/10 - It's difficult to rate a clock crew flash based on art. From what I can tell, it's not about the art with a CC flash. But even if the artwork was simple in some shots, looking like it was just done on MS Paint, there was a nice attention to detail. The color palate was particularly effective.
Animation: 8/10 - again, great attention to detail. Despite the lack of a "face" on the clock, movement was used to express emotion effectively. Little details, like the (excuse me for not knowing all the clock characters) IpodClock struggling in the bag, are pure genius. I can't go to a full 10, because the animation is crude in spots, but a flash like this doesn't need perfect animation to be effective.
Sound: 9/10 - there isn't any sound of course; it's a music video. Except for a couple of spots, the sound was synched perfectly to the images.
Plot/Character: 10/10 - how you came up with a plot that takes a harmless little song and turns it into a tale of kidnapping, satanic worship, the summoning of an immortal beast of destruction, and lost cab fare is beyond me.
Humor: 10/10 - The best thing about the humor in this flash is that the inside jokes that you peppered about do not distract from the overall humor. One does not need to be immersed in the lore of the CC to find this flash side-splittingly funny. I watched this 20 times and still found it funny on the last view. Can I sue you for any ensuing brain damage I may have suffered for those 20 views?
Overall: 45/50 - 9/10.
I'll never be able to listen to a Tiny Tim song again without fear of a demon emerging from the soil of my back yard. Then again, I've never listened to a Tiny Tim song before, so any concerns about this happening are unfounded. In reading other reviews it's disheartening to see that this flash was quickly voted down from the top 50. Not only is this flash an amazing piece of work, but its history tells one everything they need to know about the NG community. Hopefully people will vote this flash back up, as it deserves to be number 2 in the rankings, not that mediocre Iron Man flash that is currently holding the spot. Thank you; I now see the light and you've made me a closet clock. Damn you straight to hell with CarrotClock!
The art is actually done largely in homage to older clock flash. If you'll notice it starts out more simple, and that's intentional. I have a tendency to overcomplicate things as I go on, but hey screw it, had fun doing it.
The animation was mostly tweens. There's a few frame-by-frame touches (like the tentacles on Carrothulu)
The cab fare thing is an inside joke. You'll notice earlier in the movie TreeClock steals DWARFINATOR's wallet. This is a reference to the fact that TreeClock used to be an administrator of the Clock Crew website and held the account for the CC treasury. When he left, he left with the money and we haven't been able to get it back. Dwarf continues to bring it up at every conceivable instance.
I'm glad you liked the humor, honestly I feel most of the credit goes to Tiny Tim there, but I like to think I did right by the song.
Thank you for the nice comments. I don't think it will be voted up again, it was voted down to a 4.17 which means even when it was out of the top 100 folks specifically kept going to this video to vote it down. The damage has been done, c'est la vie, but we got up there by being the real folks who call the shots at NG, and we'll be back with more.
Anyway if you feel like coming out of the closet on that clock thing,
