"Yes, that is supposed to happen."

This was done for the Newgrounds Game Jam #2. We had 72 hours to make a game.
Taking the path less traveled (like really less traveled) our programmer, HiddenSpartan, did some funky stuff and that explains the game. This technically is a massive feat of programming because to create what we had here, HiddenSpartan created a level editor, a character editor and the whole engine from scratch to get us to what we have now. He added "quantum boxes" last minute for a little added fun.

We'll eventually use this a jumping point to create a far more complex RPG game. Hopefully you enjoy.

Good music, bad art, need better underlying gamepl

The main problem is that the game is not that interesting.

The maze was too open (easy strategy of going around outer edge is too easy to notice)

boxes were pretty random.

it seems there's not much to show for the amount of code done.

10/10 for music

3/10 for gameplay. I mean, I just don't see the point of this game besides navigating the maze. Looks like you didn't put a lot of effort into besides the music. That's the only awesome part of this game.

damned good

Im going to look at it through a deeper perspective, the maze colors have amazing constrast(good) the rectangles give you something to do while you look for the exit, and the music is amazing, plus it was made by you guys so...i think its a pretty good game. but question to falcon, what program do you use to make the music?

for 72 hours. not bad. the physics where a bit odd, and if you hang around too long the music stops.... (i wanted to get a soda) overall, not too bad. if you (the programmer) are looking to go back and make improvements, i recommend a random map generator, so the mazes are different every time. a few "power ups" like a zoomed out view or a speed boost would be nice. finally, possibly a few "foes" some mobile and others just blocking a path. spices things up a bit.

What tha..

What was that? It took me 3 seconds to get out.. And 'win'. 3 seconds! That isn't a maze! Love the music but the game itself.. Sorry but it sucked..
