:::: Newgrounds Game Jam #2 (Winter Edition, 2010) ::::
Team Ermine presents Ermy and the Frozen World. A shooter meets defense game. This is our work after nearly 72 hours of dedication. After losing an artist and our musician, Respect switched teams to help with art.
The player must help lil' Ermy to protect his fire, which is the only fire in the whole frozen world. Animals across the world want Ermy's fire, they want it... Dead or alive.
Are you ready to help Ermy?
Controls:
WASD to move.
MOUSE to shoot.
Note: There was a lot more we wanted to do with the game and we plan on releasing a "deluxe edition" with all the awesome features we didnt have time for. Just imagine, lots of weapons, more upgrades, bosses, medals, high score tables, music/sound and much more!

What can i say?
Its a cool game,but,When you got all the upgrades (wave 5) its starts to be boring.
I liked the idea that you gived to the animals different weapons,not only 1 weapon per animal. Very good for a 3 days challange.

IT SUCKS!!!1
the 2 stars are because:
-the graphics are... ok, only ok
-you can shoot with the mouse (there is games where you use the keyboard, or can't even move the gun XD)
here are some reasons of why I hate this game (not every reason, the review would be too long =P)
-The upgrades are ONLY 3!!! THREE!!!!!!!!!!!O-o
-Ice cubes bleed >:U wtf
-The music is repetitive/boring/monotone
-THERE IS NO SOUNDS
-The music in the menu and while playing is the same (btw, did I say it's repetitive? =P)
-You don't know if the game has an end or not (you could say that in the author comments, or in the tuturial, you know?)
In response to all your comments, this game was made in 72 hours by 3 people ;)

Friky weird
Looking such cute furry animal smiling and shooting a machine gun makes you wonder, WTF?

impossible
besides the fact that u cannot beat the game, its pretty fun, very nice music choice, clean interesting art and smooth movement, but i think the spreading of Ermys machine gun is a bit much.
P.S walking ice cubes ALWAYS spoil the fun
