The effect is nice, but the game is lost on me.

I've always loved the look of lines of code going by and the feeling of putting it all down. There's a simple satisfaction of working with it, at least once you have the hang of it. Otherwise it can be very tedious to sit around wondering what's wrong. That's what we have here.

I've been sitting around for around ten minutes now plugging in different whole words, random combinations of digits and letters in different cases, and mixtures of the two into the create <name> <password> and haven't been able to get a single one to work. It always gives me the "in use or illegal" error message. I can't start a game. I'm sure there are legal names, but I can't tell what they are or would be. The game doesn't indicate why a name is illegal. I've looked through the other commands for assistance, but I'm not getting anything. If there's some sort of in-joke, that's a little ridiculous, but I figure something is just off.

It's a cool idea, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure where the problem is, but it needs to be fixed.

Update: We discovered that it won't allow names larger than 14 characters long.
We're updating the newbie experience, it is admittedly very difficult for newbies to understand the game and get connected their first time. We're working on making it more accessible to the general public.

Type 'create treasure my_password' (without the quotes) to create a new account. I'd like to see the game be as self-explanatory as possible. Any nuances in the intro definitely need fixing. Any feedback you can give me is most appreciated though and will result in updates. Thank you for taking the time to review our game. It means a lot of us that you would take the time to give it an honest try and I would love to get it working for you so you can check it out. Thanks again.
